Justin sent us the high quality, well edited photos faster than I have ever heard any wedding photographer get pictures to the bride and groom and he made it very easy for us to share those pictures with family and friends. Not only did Justin deliver beautiful photos that captured the mood of the day, but he went above and beyond his photographer duties. When all of the bridal party was racing around with wet fingernails, Justin stepped in to help button the many buttons on my dress. When we were running late to get to the ceremony, Justin called the front desk at the venue to make sure our ride was waiting for us to get to the ceremony ASAP. I cannot recommend Justin enough!!!”

Besides his impeccable DJing and his ability to run an event smoothly, what truly set Jason and District Remix above and beyond was the development of my husband and I’s first dance song. We had a vision of an acoustic to original mash-up of the Darkness’ “I Believe in a Thing Called Love”. Jason worked through multiple versions of it until it was perfected. It was better than my husband and I could have ever imagined. District Remix and Jason made our reception truly unforgettable and I cannot recommend them enough for your wedding. He even mixed our first dance songs well before, probably about five months ahead of the wedding when I asked! Jeff truly went above and beyond for us. His equipment worked so well even though we had sound playing throughout a few separate rooms of the venue, and went to a separate room for the toasts. “Josh had our whole wedding dancing all night. With really creative mixing, he was able to blend in so many different genres seamlessly. Most importantly, he was really attuned to the crowd's energy and was great about knowing when to play a song in full and when to just tease us with quick samples. If you're looking for someone who really listens to what you want, instead of playing just the same 30 songs you hear at every wedding, Josh is your DJ. The music selection process is easy - in addition to check-in calls and zooms, he uses an app, so you can build you can craft the perfect playlist ahead of time. We both really enjoyed adding songs to our app throughout the planning process. But the best was actually hearing the way he was able to combine so many of our favorite songs for our reception party. He had all our of guests (ages ranging from 10 to over 80 years old) dancing all night long. Our first comment from friends the day after our wedding was about how fun they had on the dance floor and how great the music was! I also think its important to add that Josh handled our wedding ceremony music, cocktail music, dinner music and sparkler exits as well- he provided mics, sounds systems, everything we needed, and all of those were executed perfectly. He was on time for set-up, very respectful of the rules/guidelines in places at our historic venue, and he collaborated really well with our other vendors to make sure everything looked and sounded perfect. Also he is just the nicest guy- really responsive on email and genuine- which was so, so appreciated during tho last few chaotic months of wedding planning. 10/10 - highly recommend.”

He was able to adapt as the situation changed, and always did everything with a big smile on his face. He even served us and the wedding party wine during the dinner! We recommended some songs that we liked for him to play, and he took our suggestions and made a great playlist for the dancing. He was very accommodating for what we wanted to hear, and definitely kept the party going. His communcition was great, I don't think we ever waited more than a few hours for a return email, and he answered all of our questions thoroughly and with ease. I would HIGHLY recommend DJ Brandon. Cara, the owner, is wonderful and very accommodating. The space is cute and quirky and doesn't need much decoration for events. The food is DELICIOUS every single time we visit and this was no exception. Our bartender and main point of contact for the night was Brad, who was amazing every step of the way. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose Blue Pit every time. You can't go wrong here.”
