I cannot sing Emma’s praises enough!!! We hired Emma as a month-of coordinator and are fully convinced she is the sole reason our wedding went off without a hitch! We had over 200 people and our ceremony was at a different location from our reception—no small undertaking—and from the moment we started working together, we knew our wedding was in good hands. Emma is extremely organized and has the perfect demeanor for this type of work. When I was actively pulling my hair out with stress (and a venue that was less than forthcoming about a conflict with our event space), Emma stepped up and made sure everything went smoothly, all while remaining calm, cool and collected. Emma was SO easy to work with and is a pleasure to be around. She also has a great inventory of items to bolster your décor—we ended up renting a card box and table numbers from her that she printed and designed with our names on it! She helped us hone our vision and refine our timeline, all while making sure everything was finalized to our liking! Super communicative throughout the entire process, and they helped us stay on track as we approached the wedding weekend. Kat did a phenomenal job of helping guide us through the details of the schedule and the wedding with compassion and patience. One thing we also really appreciated was how they managed the timeline day of, and kept us apprised of key events as they were coming up (cake cutting, how much time left for dancing, and so on). No matter what kind of wedding you're having, she will make you and your partner feel like you have all of her attention as the most important couple. Throughout the whole process, she was so professional and supportive, even with not as traditional ideas. She had such a quick response time, usually within a day, or a couple hours, and sometimes even sooner! Her attention to detail in making my timeline was also amazing and I felt that we were able to have the whole day planned to the dot before the big day. We had some small hiccups with the layouts that our venue had set up, but a quick word from Lissa had them fixing the issue. Every vendor she recommended received a 5-star review. Penderview Events truly went above and beyond to make our day PERFECT. As a DIY and meticulous bride, we knew Anna was the one we would entrust with our vision the moment we had our phone consultation; she was so incredibly sweet and enthusiastic about our big day, and I immediately felt a sense of ease that she will be able to handle all the shenanigans and i can pass her the torch with ease. Although she was hired for "day of", she assisted us in any way possible months leading to and made sure we were on top of all the important tasks leading up to the day of (i.e. vendors contact info, finalizing timeline for the morning/day of, etc.). My big day unfortunately started off disastrous (I became car sick), so I was unable to give guidance with the decor during set up. But since one of the tasks Anna asked me weeks prior was for a list with all the decor and how/where I wanted them placed, Penderview legit made my vision come true!!!!!!!! Penderview was so attentive, that they were even able to place some items which I gave no instructions for (i.e. last minute decided that we wanted wedding party to sit during the ceremony, so I made name placement cards for the reserved chairs, and without mentioning it, they were placed on the chairs in processional order). Penderview was able to execute every event and details on the timeline FLAWLESSLY, and I was able to enjoy the event with ease knowing that everything was in such capable hands. We felt and saw how invested Penderview was throughout the day in making it perfect for us, especially the attention to details and handling all the logistics smoothly behind-the-scenes. I also really appreciated Anna’s assertiveness when hiccups would arise (ie, making sure guests wouldnt be walking in while were ready down the aisle/stay out of view, wedding party prioritized drinking and forgot to come back for portraits; flower girls kept running infront of camera during portraits, and so many other headaches i did not want to deal with, etc.) Not only was Anna able to accomplish and execute my vision beyond expectations, but she was also my emotional support and my right-hand lady, making sure I was always hydrated. Anna’s empathetic and kind demeanor made her feel more like a close friend than just a ‘day of coordinator’. Hiring Penderview was the best investment we made. Thank you so much for making our day magical and we will forever be grateful to Penderview!!!

Amaka and her team took over like we wanted and literally covered everything. The best part was how they helped us save tons of money on our wedding. Don't be hesitant in booking. The price you pay is well worth it Somehow they found a way to even get my husband involved in the planning process because Amaka made it a fun process. She also gave us a planning book to help keep track and our own personalized google sheet that literally had everything including our guest list and how everyone would be seated. Amaka was always available when needed and if she wasn't, she delegated someone else. My husband and I loved attending vendor visits with her and she would always offer to treat us to lunch/dinner whenever we had appts. They went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure the wedding was blissful. I recommended her to a friend who has a destination wedding next year and they are already in love. A planning company that knows what they're doing, very honest with you rather than telling you what you want to hear and extremely resourceful. We also got to save on decor because they provided rentals since we booked the full service planning and Amaka with giving us tips on how to save on decor. We wanted them to actually do the decor :-( but they couldn't at that time and was honest about it. However, I am excited about ariscreationz doing the decor for my friend's wedding.

TLDR: Easy communication, handles everything, calming, amazing experience. Madi helped us plan and coordinated our wedding in June at the Eaton DC. We cannot recommend her enough!! During the planning process, she was the perfect balance of being the cheerleader for our ideas, and weighing in with her own when we needed another perspective. We felt pretty unprepared and clueless about planning a wedding, and Madi was so accepting of that and really validated us along the way. She handed all of the communication and emails, which was a huge task and a relief to hand off. On the actual wedding day, Madi and her team made everything feel comfortable and easy. Madi has such a calm demeanor that we completely trusted that no matter what happened, she was going to take care of it and it wouldn’t impact us. And it didn’t! We weren’t aware of any logistics going on around us, and Madi and her team made sure it was the most special for us. Well Diane is a gem of a human being, and I really do feel like I made a forever friend in her. Throughout the planning process and on the day, there were times when I just needed emotional support, and she was there for me. Her communication is prompt, consistent, and thorough. She got back to me on every email in a timely manner with all the answers I needed. I didn't realize at the time but strong communication was probably the MOST important aspect that made working with vendors 1000x better, and Diane excelled at it. Additionally, in the lead up to my wedding day and on the day itself, Diane was on top of EVERY detail. She went above and beyond to make sure that everything was PERFECT - just as I always dreamed it would be. From helping me iron my wedding dress while my bridesmaids and I were getting our makeup done to overseeing every vendor arrival and setup to making sure transitions from each part of the day were smooth - she did it all. No detail was too small for her, and because she's a total professional, she thought of everything!
