Ever since I was 7 years old, I told everyone that when I grew up I was going to be a chef. I grew up with that idea and never considered a back up plan. However when my daughter was diagnosed at the age of 3 with an allergy to eggs and nuts, it definitely posed a new baking challenge for me.
