I started baking and cake decorating in 2013 as a hobby, which quickly turned into my career. Since then, I have built up my company by creating unique cake designs and great-tasting cakes! I am passionate about bringing joy to any special occasion through my cakes.

What sets me apart is my attention to detail, flexibility and outstanding customer service. I pride myself on using the best ingredients and, making everything from scratch to ensure that not only my cakes and desserts look good and appetizing, but they are actually delicious.

    You must try the Lemon blueberry cake with berry filling and cream cheese frosting! I am a picky dessert person and had tried many cake vendors before finding maureen. I do not like overly sweet desserts and I found hers to be perfectly balanced. Her frosting cannot be beat. Period. I tasted cakes from places with over 20 years of experience that couldn't hold a candle to her. All other places had frosting that was too sweet and kind of grainy. I tried her white chocolate Swiss butter cream, vanilla Swiss buttercream, and her cream cheese frosting. All of them were impossibly smooth and not too sweet, they were perfection. The lemon blueberry cake was chocked full of fresh blueberries and was even better paired with the mixed berry compote. My now husband and I had to restrain ourselves at the tasting to not eat all of the cupcakes she brought because we wanted the maid of honor to taste the cake too! What was even better was i ordered treats from her for my Bachelorette and they were all divine. I ordered fruit tarts, assorted mini cheesecakes, and cupcakes of my wedding cake flavor and the girls are still raving about it. I ended up adding the passion fruit and oreo cheesecake for the wedding as well because she was also very reasonably priced. I will say too that the fruit tarts were impeccable, the cream inside was so velvety and you could see the real vanilla beans and the crust was so delicious and buttery. On top of that they were a generous size. For the wedding day she was timely and i got so many compliments on the cake and cheese cakes! Maureen has a customer for life, in fact I'm messaging her now to put in another order!

    Maureen was absolutely amazing!!! Not only was she super easy to communicate with, she went above and beyond for my wedding cake. My husband and I live out of state, but had our wedding back in Texas where our families are, and Maureen prepared us tastings and send them all the way to Chicago with my parents so that we could try them! She also was able to make a gluten free cake (I am celiac) taste better than a normal one! Our first bite of our wedding cake was like heaven, and our guest are still RAVING about how good our cupcakes were that she made! In fact, one of our guests is planning to use White Orchid for their wedding now too! I cannot emphasize enough the amazing service Maureen provided as well as how absolutely beautiful and DELICIOUS her baked goods were. I would HIGHLY recommend White Orchid to anyone looking for a bakery, especially to those planning a wedding!

    When we started to look for someone to make our wedding cake, we were a little overwhelmed by the entire process. I did an initial inquriy with a few different places and I'm so so so grateful Maureen was the first to reply. From the jump, she was absolutely wonderful to work with. We did a tasting, and knew immediately we wanted Maureen to make our cake. From then on, I struggled in finding a design and style to go with and Maureen was patient and so kind. When we finally decided on the design, Maureen took it from there. We coordinated with florist to have fresh florals ready on wedding day. Her delivery was flawless and the execution exceeded my expectations. Our cake looked phenomenal, and was absolutely PERFCT. And that's only the beginning, not only was this cake perfect to look at, it was the BEST wedding cake ever. So many guests loved every bite. I cannot wait for another occasion to have a cake, because we are most definetly going to work with Maureen & White Orchid Bakery. - Thank you Maureen!!

    We've tried several vendors but white orchid's cakes were the most delicious. Maureen was so easy to work with and executed on our vision perfectly. Many of our guests actually gave us comments about how good the cake was or that it was the best tasting wedding cake they had.
