Diane’s Patisserie of West Berlin, NJ, is a special occasion bakery providing one of a kind birthday cakes, weddings cakes, bat/bar mitzvah cakes and much more. Diane has been fulfilling her passion of baking cakes since 1986 and prides herself on baking and creating the cake of your dreams. Each cake begins with a simple consultation. Diane takes the opportunity to consult with every client to create their once in a lifetime vision. No detail will be overlooked.

Diane Nussbaum has owned her shop since 1986 and has been training and baking since 1981. Many awards have been given to Diane’s La Pâtisserie under her leadership, including five “Best of Philly” awards for pastries and cakes. She was also given the honor of recreating Philadelphia’s Bourse Building from sugar for its 100th anniversary. Diane was one of only 20 pastry chefs asked to create a celebration cake for the 20th anniversary of the Craft Festival of the Philadelphia Art Museum. Gum paste flowers rolled fondant, and edible ribbons and lace have become a trademark of Diane’s as highlighted in Philadelphia Magazine’s “Elegant Weddings.”

    The cupcakes were good. we had a few left after the wedding and were still moist a few days later. 1 problem - i asked for no artificial color and my wedding cupcakes had rainbow sprinkles. luckily my guests were understanding and used to having to pick those off. i was embarrassed but my guests were OK.

    We worked with Diane through our caterer for our wedding at The Estate at Eagle Lake this past May. We met with Diane at her home/business and had a great experience. Diane allowed us to pick out a ton of flavors and everything that we tried was EXCELLENT! We picked a 4 tier cake with each being a different flavor, my favorite being the mocha buttercream and my husband's being oreo buttercream that Diane made at his request. So many of our guests complemented our cake and we had plenty for them to take to go!

    Absolutely thankful for Diane’s work for our wedding cakes. She was able to give us a delicious and beautiful cake for the majority of our guests, as well as a delicious gluten free, dairy free, cake for our other guests with dietary restrictions. Everyone enjoyed their slices and the matching cupcakes were amazing as well. Thanks again!

    Diane is the nicest person. She worked with us to design the perfect cake. We ordered a four layer cake, with the base layer being a lemon cake with raspberry filling (absolutely delicious), the next layer being a vanilla cake with chocolate chips and filling, and the third layer a chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling. We got the lemon and raspberry as the top layer as well. We upgraded to this delicious French buttercream icing. Totally worth it. Diane did an amazing job decorating the cake with the live flowers that we provided.
