Do you give out the Raw Images

Accepted Answer

Only one part of my job is taking your photos, the other part is hand-selecting and editing your photos to create a story. This is why I do not give out RAW images. You can trust me to make sure every part of your day is included in the final images. I store all of the photos for 6 months after your session date. If you feel like you are missing photos we can always go back and revisit the photos you would like to include.

Question 2

Do you back up your photos?

Accepted Answer

I back up your photos during and after your session so I have three copies of the original photos. I back up your photos on 2 SD cards which go into a shockproof water-resistant case right after we are done with our session. I then back up the photos onto a hard drive.

Question 3

What is your deposit amount?

Accepted Answer

I ask for a 20% down payment at the time of booking to reserve your photo shoot day.

Question 4

We're awkward in front of the camera, will you help us?

Accepted Answer

Most of the couples I work with are a bit shy or have never been in front of a camera. Not only is it my goal to help you and your partner be comfortable during your session but it is also to help you to reconnect. During our time together I will use playful candid posing with organic prompts that allow you to reconnect with your loved one in an exciting way. We will be moving, laughing, and cheering each other on to make beautiful memories.

Question 5

Do you give us the rights to the photos?

Accepted Answer

As the artist, I reserve the original copyright of the photo. This means I own the original copies of the photos and the edits on the photos. I release a print right to you that allows you to share the photos on social media, with friends and family, and print the photos.

Question 6

What is the turn around time for photos?

Accepted Answer

The editing process is one step that will bring a pop of color, even skin tones, and uniqueness to your photo. I hand-select and edit each photo individually to create a story of your love. This process typically takes 2 months for weddings with previews in 1 week. For all other sessions, this process takes about 3-4 weeks.

Do you incorporate travel fees into your packages?

I love traveling for weddings and elopements and have been since the start of my photography career. Travel fees are on a case-by-case basis, when filling out the inquiry form I recommend that you put as much detail as you can about the length of travel and dates of travel. In most cases, travel fees are included in the price of my packages, especially for Florida, Boston, California, Oregon, Washington, the Caribbean, and Mexico.
