Hey, I'm Mary! It's nice to meet you. Summing up who I am in an "about me" is always difficult. What you must know: (1) I'm a nerd. If you want to talk video games, LOTR or Doctor Who, we HAVE to sit down for a bourbon or a coffee. (2) Yes, I will be out on that dance floor with you snapping away while joining in on the fun. And (3), while I'm a photographer first, supporting you during the planning process feels crucial to me - from building a timeline to having your back any way I can.

Connection is everything. It is the catalyst for a fantastic experience and without, it can lead to totally awkward moments (and photos). Making a genuine connection with you is my top priority. We got very lucky finding Mary as our photographer. She was our photographer for our engagement party, engagement photos, and the wedding day. She always made time to talk and keep an open line of communication! She was great at making us feel comfortable and giving directions (which we definitely needed). Mary is also extremely thoughtful and I really appreciate the little things she had done to make everything as perfect as possible!

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

In my 6 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.

You can expect about 50-70 images per hour of photographing (even more when you book a second photographer). But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

You will receive a sneak peek within a week of your wedding day!! Then the full gallery within three months.

I am the sole editor for MJC Image. Everything comes through me, even video. What I can promise are fully-edited, enhanced, high-resolution images that you will obsess over.

Sometimes, I’ll suggest one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. This will be something we discuss together and make the best decision for your perfect day.

I typically open my books 12 months out. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

If you're looking at a date marked off on the Zola calendar, PLEASE reach out anyway. I have two Lead Associates who are incredible and whose voices have become integral to the MJC Weddings look. I'll still be along for the planning process and every image will still be edited by me (and a little secret: you get a discount!).
