Hey, I'm Mary! It's nice to meet you. Summing up who I am in an "about me" is always difficult. What you must know: (1) I'm a nerd. If you want to talk video games, LOTR or Doctor Who, we HAVE to sit down for a bourbon or a coffee. (2) Yes, I will be out on that dance floor with you snapping away while joining in on the fun. And (3), while I'm a photographer first, supporting you during the planning process feels crucial to me - from building a timeline to having your back any way I can.

Connection is everything. It is the catalyst for a fantastic experience and without, it can lead to totally awkward moments (and photos). Making a genuine connection with you is my top priority.     We couldn't have asked for a better photography team for our wedding day! From the day we had our consultation with her, Mary was thorough, compassionate, reassuring, and professional. She captured our love for each other perfectly in both our engagement photos and day-of wedding photos. We felt so comfortable with her through the whole process, and we will cherish our photos forever.

    We got very lucky finding Mary as our photographer. She was our photographer for our engagement party, engagement photos, and the wedding day. She always made time to talk and keep an open line of communication! She was great at making us feel comfortable and giving directions (which we definitely needed). Mary is also extremely thoughtful and I really appreciate the little things she had done to make everything as perfect as possible!

    Mary was a m a z i n g. My now husband found her pretty much by chance when looking for a photographer for our surprise (to me) proposal. She did a great job getting all the best shots without it feeling like the proposal was a photoshoot, which we appreciated so we could be in the moment. And the photos were beautiful. We then booked her for our wedding pretty much without considering anyone else because we just loved the photos and experience from our engagement. Mary was communicative and relaxed and flexible leading up to the wedding-- which was perfect given all the other stressors going on. On the wedding day she had a lovely calm energy, got amazing shots for the portrait photos, and then I feel like I forgot she was even there (in a good way) during the reception. I can't imagine a better experience with a photographer, and we are so grateful for the way she captured our wedding day and how easy she was to work with. Thank you, Mary! I wish we had another life event on the horizon so we could hire you again!

    MJC Image was an absolute pleasure to work with. Mary and her team were incredibly organized and efficient leading up to and during a very busy wedding weekend and she was always kind and patient, putting us at ease throughout the entire process. Her work is truly professional and artistic - she captured all the special moments of our wedding day with a keen eye for detail and creativity. We couldn't be happier with the final photos, which reflect the joy and love of our celebration. Mary was receptive to our preferences and worked hard to ensure we were thrilled with the end result. We had so much fun getting to know her from our proposal weekend all the way through to our engagement shoot and three day wedding weekend.
