Do you offer payment plans?

My payment plan consists of 3 payments, your retainer to lock me in due open receipt, your second payment due halfway between the date of hire and wedding date, and your final payment due 4 weeks before your wedding. Should you need your payments to be broken up differently, just let me know. We will work together to set things up the perfect way for you!

What is your turn around time?

For all small shoots and engagement sessions, they will be back to you in 2-3 weeks or less. For your wedding day, your online gallery will be sent to you in 8 weeks or less.

Question 3

How many images do we get?

Accepted Answer

It definitely varies from each package that I offer and how the day goes. For small shoots and engagements/portrait sessions it will be around 100, and for weddings it’s between 600-800. Just know that I promise to give you your memories captured in all of the best ways possible in your final gallery.

Question 4

How do we lock in our date with you?

Accepted Answer

I require a non-refundable retainer and contract signed to hold your date. All payment is online through Honeybook, which is so nice not to worry about writing checks the day of! Your final payment is due 3-4 weeks before your wedding date.

Question 5

Do you have insurance you can provide our venue?

I have general liability insurance and am happy to give a copy to your venue and add them to our policy if needed.

What if you are already booked on our day?

Sometimes I’m already booked for your wedding day when you reach out, and it's always such a bummer to tell you no. Last year this was happening so often that I wanted to make sure that if you wanted the same experience you'd get with me, I'd make sure you could have it. I’ve trained four associates who are super passionate about giving you an amazing experience under my brand to shoot your engagements and weddings. All photos they take will be edited the way I edit, and I’ve given them the juicy secrets on how to shoot the way I shoot as well. So if I'm already booked, you still have the chance to work with me and my team

Can you Photoshop us?

No. I stand my ground in this because I believe in capturing your most real and authentic self at whatever phase of life you’re in. I promote body positivity and self love, so I never touch anything unless it’s temporary like acne or a bruise. My general rule of thumb is if it won’t be gone in two weeks, it stays.

Can anyone else take photos while you are?

I’d absolutely love if you looked into having an “unplugged” ceremony. I totally get that Uncle Bob has a super nice camera and LOVES to take photos at every family event, however, if I am worrying about someone shooting behind me or over my shoulder, I won’t be giving YOU my full attention. I also want your family and friends to be fully present while you commit to loving each other forever, so announcing to put phones and iPads away is something to think about! You can let your family members know that they’ll have access to the gallery once I send it to you, and they are more than welcome to download any of the photos I take.

Can you help us with a timeline?

Absolutely! We will have two phone calls specifically to talk timeline and be as organized as possible and get you going into your wedding day without stressing.

Question 10

What if we need to cancel/move our wedding?

Accepted Answer

The retainer fee is non-refundable for the date you book with me. If you need to rebook, we can cancel your current contract and you are more than welcome to rebook on the desired date with a new retainer paid. I do this because I most likely turned down other work/sessions/weddings for this date to book yours.

Question 11

Do you give out RAW (unedited) photos?

No, and I will not. I believe RAW images are only half of the work done. Editing is a giant part of my creative process and I want you to come to me for my shooting style AND editing, not just one or the other. Trust me to make a seriously gorgeous final product!

Question 12

Is there a backup plan if you can't make it to our wedding?

Accepted Answer

I would have to be on my death bed before I missed your wedding; however, in the super rare event or act of nature that would prevent me from being there — I have a network of incredibly talented photographers who would step in and photograph your day. The photographs would then be delivered to me while I edit from said deathbed.
