I love, love. And yes, that is cliche to say as a wedding photographer who literally makes a living telling your love stories through photos. But heres the thing: if I didnt, I’d be a terrible photographer. So, be glad, right? Kidding aside, every wedding I walk into is like a dopamine boost. No two weddings are ever the same and I love the differences in all of your stories. I pride myself on getting to know my couples personally and on a deeper level. We become actual friends. I want to know all your quirks and idiosyncrasies that make you who you are.

The best decision of my entire wedding and maybe life was choosing Tara as my photographer!!! I cannot say enough amazing things about her work, it makes me want to cry thinking about the amazing experience I had with her from start to finish! She is a one of kind person and photographer. She made every dream and vision of mine come to life, from my engagement photo shoot to the day of my wedding I was in the best possible hands. She made my husband and I feel so comfortable and at ease on our wedding day. Our venue gave us a rushed time frame for pictures on site and Tara eased all of our anxiety with her expertise and personality. I will be hiring Tara for every major event in my life from here on out!! I would do it 10000 times over and I'm so happy I get to look back on these incredible pictures and moments that she was able to capture. I wish I could share them all on here so everyone could get the full effect! Not a single picture I don't love.

Tara was recommended to me by another photographer, which I think is testament in itself to her work. I wanted wedding photos that didn't look like your standard, generic wedding photos and Tara was perfect for that. Her work has a really warm, intimate feel and the same is true of Tara herself. We worked with Tara on 3 occasions (engagement pics, microwedding ceremony, and a separate larger reception). She's super sweet and feels more like a friend than a vendor, which is very helpful when you're talking about stressful events like weddings! Highly recommend working with Tara!

When I say I searched high and low for a photographer with vintage style editing like Tara, I mean it. I spent months and months looking. She was always on my radar but was unfortunately booked for our date. After lots of contemplation and talking it over with Tara, we decided to go the route of having a “sub” photographer shoot the day and then Tara would do the editing herself. WOW did that work out for the best. The photographers that came for day of were two INCREDIBLE ladies, one I was highly considering when I found out Tara was booked, the other is now my business brand photographer. I brag all the time about how I was lucky enough to get the “dream team package”. It was like 3 for the price of one. As much as I would have loved to have Tara there on that day, I’m truly thankful for how she made it work in the best way possible. 10/10 recommend Tara!

Unfortunately dates cannot be held without a signed contract and deposit. If you’ve decided you love me and you love my work, I always recommend getting booked as soon as possible so that you don’t lose your date. Bookings work on a first come, first serve basis and popular dates tend to get snapped up rather quickly.

To ensure that a preferred month or season is locked down, I would recommend booking 2-3 months in advance.

I have general liability insurance and am happy to give a copy to your venue and add them to our policy if needed.

I keep your wedding day open, so if you need me to stay longer than we originally scheduled, just let me know. I never want you to feel like the moments that matter most to you aren't being captured due to a time constraint. After the wedding, I will invoice you for the additional coverage.

Rescheduling can be stressful for everyone, but I am here to help you and make the process as simple as possible. We can work together to find a new date when I am available or we can make sure one of my Associate Photographers are available from my team. Cancellations are a little different unfortunately, those have a fee for both weddings and sessions. The retainer is non-refundable once paid.

Of course it is! I am all about capturing candid moments. Some of the most beautiful photographs happen when my couples are just being themselves. Please don’t ever worry about posing. I help gently guide you during portraits, but I really love to let things unfold as naturally as possible!

If you choose an editorial/documentary style photographer like myself you will notice their love for timeless B&W images. Many photographers will also use B&W when faced with tricky lighting situations where it is dark, badly lit or there is orange indoor light that is not very flattering on the skin. As a general rule, I always aim to deliver more color than black and white but will provide a copy of both if it works.

No, I don't. The way I color and edit my images is part of my art and I consider the pictures only halfway done without being edited.

Personally, I LOVE photographing at new venues! it is always inspiring to create art with a fresh set of eyes in a new space. BUT, I am always willing to go visit a venue before the actual wedding day if I am shooting there for the first time if that makes my couples more comfortable.
