Founder & Pastry Chef

Lesly's love for sweets & baking started at a very young age. A Pastry Arts graduate from The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College, she launched The Sugary in 2017. Located in the Rittenhouse neighborhood of Philadelphia, The Sugary is a retail storefront specializing in cakes, cupcakes & cookies. Their menu consists of innovative desserts that are made from scratch using high quality ingredients. We customize your order to have a creative look and unique flavor profile without compromising taste or quality.

A wedding is one of the most special & memorable days in your life and The Sugary would be honored to be a part of it. We take care of everything from design to set up and delivery. Buttercream wedding cake prices start at $8.50 per serving and can increase based on flavor or design. The Sugary does not cover cakes in fondant; we only use it for decoration. Whether you want a wedding cake, cupcakes, cookie favors, or a complete dessert table, The Sugary can help with all your dessert needs.     Lesley did an absolutely incredible job on our wedding cake. It was extremely gorgeous and exceeded all our expectation on the design and the taste. We were blown away by this cake! Throughout the entire process Lesley was extremely communicative and professional from the tasting to the day of the wedding. I couldn’t say enough great things about Lesley. We highly recommend using The Sugary!

    We worked with the Sugary team for our wedding cake and it was an incredible experience. I have Celiac Disease, and Lesly made sure that the cake was not only gluten free, but absolutely DELICIOUS! 10/10 recommend. We will be using The Sugary for all cake needs moving forward.
