About this venue

Since opening in 2007 osteria has become one of the country’s most critically acclaimed italian restaurants... earning chef Jeff Michaud the 2010 James Beard Foundation Award of “Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic” for his work helming the kitchen. Using our wood burning grill and custom-made brick oven, our kitchen is focused on seasonal menus prepared using traditional Northern Italian techniques. Enjoy an ever-changing array of fresh hand-made pastas with a perfectly paired glass of wine in a gorgeously lush ambiance that only Osteria can offer. GREENHOUSE

The glass-enclosed Greenhouse at Osteria boasts a view of our Pergola and the beautiful stained glass windows of the church next door.

This space can accommodate up to sixty-five guests comfortably for a beautiful and unique event. All events are served family-style to allow guests more variety with each course and encourage interaction through sharing. Menus are pre-selected in advance of the event date. Dietary restrictions are no issue.

    We got married at Osteria July 2024 and it was the most magical experience. Communication with the whole team throughout the whole process was easy, and Fiona offered so much helpful guidance in navigating and planning the day as a bride with no wedding planner/coordinator. Between the food, cocktails, greenhouse, and overall intimate ambiance it was the best decision we could have made to starting our life together, as we now have a place to go for all of our future celebrations.

    Osteria was the perfect venue for our wedding. Fiona was so helpful in asking all of the right questions to help us plan for our big day. The greenhouse is so beautiful on its own that it barely needs any additional decorations. Many guests complimented the staff and mentioned that this was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. We are so grateful to Osteria for making our special day truly unforgettable.

    If I could give them 1000/10 I would. Fiona was incredible to work with and was amazing at proactive communication. The rest of the event staff were top notch day of. We had so many compliments on how the venue looked (we did so very little, it was mostly the greenhouse and how they usually keep it), the food (loved by everyone, the care for allergies and dietary restrictions including vegan were unkatched and every single guest left incredibly full and happy), to the service (the professionalism, the knowledge of length to next course, how quick they were to turn around drinks/food) were the best. The space is gorgeous. The greenhouse holds 65 for seated dinner but we had 41 and it was perfect. There was room to make a small dance floor in the back along with our 2 person live band that made it a night to remember.

    We felt a NEED to do this review because of how amazing Osteria was. It was perfect for our wedding. Our number one priority was great great food because we’ve all been to plenty of weddings where that wasn’t “main thing” but for us that’s important and boy did they deliver and more. The food was amazing, the ambience was exactly what we wanted and they accommodated so much to make our day so so so special! We love the even coordinator Fiona there, she went above and beyond and the manager the day of was also so amazing. Our guest loved it. So many people who were our guest and not our guest commented on how beautiful the whole place was. We cannot recommend them enough and would do this again at Osteria in a heartbeat!
