Q: Do you take music requests?

As long as the wedding couple are okay with it! If a request is on the couple's "do not play" list, I'll politely let guests know I can't accommodate their request. Otherwise, I'm happy to mix in requests on the fly.

Q: Do you provide music for wedding ceremonies or cocktail receptions?

Yes! My standard wedding package includes music for the entire wedding day. That includes guest arrival, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception.

Q: Are you fully insured?

Yes! I carry full DJ event insurance and am happy to provide proof of insurance upon request.

Q: What is your style?

I truly strive to provide a unique, personalized DJ set for every single client who hires me, so my style adapts to the tastes and preferences of my clients. However, my career started DJ'ing mainly with hip-hop and pop music and those are some of my favorites to this day. Some of my biggest influences as a DJ are DJ Jazzy Jeff, Digital Dave, and Nick Bike.

Q: How early do you come to set up?

Although my setup only usually takes about an hour, I like to arrive for setup at least 2 hours before guests arrive. I always like to leave extra time in the case of emergencies.

Q: Do you provide other services, such as lighting or photo booths?

Dance floor lighting comes included with my standard wedding package. I use a light bar with 4 LED wash lights that a have variety of modes including static, strobe, fade, and music-synced lighting. While I do not provide photo booths, I can recommend photo booth vendors with stellar reputations that will be sure to deliver an excellent experience for your big day.

Hi! I'm Jake, a.k.a. DJ Hooded Wolf. I'm a DJ based in NJ just outside of Philadelphia, PA. My career kick-started as the opening DJ for DJ Frequency, the mastermind behind the Grammy Award Winning track "Monster" by Eminem feat. Rihanna. No need to worry about watching the clock or "overtime" fees. We'll keep the party going until you tell me to leave!

Jake was a fantastic DJ, he struck a great balance between keeping the party vibe strong without letting our guests turn the setlist into song request chaos. He helped us incorporate all of our unique wedding reception events into a seamless night. He also gave plenty of communication leading up to the event; we never worried that he would show up to our wedding without a plan or on a different page. He went above and beyond expectations bringing up planning considerations for our wedding we hadn't thought of ourselves. He even encouraged us to use him as a source of information for any and all wedding-related questions outside of DJ duties. Jake truly helped make our wedding a fun and memorable day. Highly recommend DJHoodedWolf for anyone looking for a professional, top-notch DJ experience!

I can’t say enough about how fantastic Jake was on our wedding day and the impact he made on making it everything we could have imagined! He was both fun and professional, making it easy to communicate our vision for our special day. On our big day he was so great about working with our planner to move through all the important events, keeping our guests (and us) on schedule. And most importantly, he made our party a PARTY! Our guests were on the dance floor all night tearing it up by our side, laughing and having fun. We highly recommend DJ Hooded Wolf for your wedding!

I cannot speak any higher of DJ Hooded Wolf's talent when he takes on your special occasion. When I reminisce about our wedding with our friends and family, we are frequently told it was the best wedding dance party they had ever attended! From the guest welcoming music to the last song, every single detail was so spot on to who Logan and I are as a couple. I would book DJ Hooded Wolf over and over again- he's truly the best.
