To-be-weds can exchange vows on their choice of outdoor terraces that overlook the picturesque grounds. White chairs are laid out in an amphitheater-style facing a vintage altar arbor. There are three spacious ballrooms to choose from at Bear Creek Mountain Resort, each designed with individual character and each opening out onto private courtyards. The Mountain Ballroom has a capacity for 250 people and exudes rustic charm, with wooden paneling and patterned carpeting lending a warm and welcoming feel. The Lodge Ballroom and Plaza and the Woodland Ballroom can accommodate up to 180 guests and feature full-length windows, vaulted ceilings, and tall fireplaces.

    Travis did such a wonderful job coordinating our wedding at Bear Creek! Their event staff was also so helpful the day of, keeping us updated on everything and staying on our timeline. Everything was taken care of and executed beautifully- we could not ask for a better venue and its staff!

    I am so happy we chose Bear Creek Mountain Resort as our wedding venue! Travis was our coordinator. He went above and beyond, answering extensive lists of questions and meeting with us several times to make sure everything was planned out perfectly before the big day. He always had a solution for our concerns and was able to accommodate all of our requests. The resort was gorgeous and I loved that we could hold our rehearsal dinner, welcome drinks, ceremony, reception, after party, and farewell breakfast, all on-site. They had plenty of rooms so the majority of our guests were able to stay at the resort. The food was delicious and the bartenders made all the drinks fresh (not from a pre-mixed dispenser). I can’t recommend Bear Creek Mountain Resort enough!

    I went through the official bear creek mountain websites three times to place an inquiry, placed a phone call, and used the Zola app. Never received a response. A friend who had a wedding there five years ago highly recommended this venue and I was excited to have them be our choice for a wedding. However it seems as if there may be new coordination staff that is not client focused. If you’re dead set on using them as a venue I recommend you go in person since all other options seem not to effective.

    I would absolutely recommend Bear Creek Mountain Resort for those wanting to get married but I would NOT recommend Aimee Whitenight. My husband and I struggled to communicate with Aimee as it would take 2-3 emails to finally get a reply. When we had our food tasting, we felt like Aimee didn’t care that we were there as she just “checked in” at the beginning and then left for the day. And when we confirmed our food options, Aimee forgot to mark it down and would “reconfirm” multiple times. This would be a recurring theme for our wedding: as Aimee left half way through our wedding and forgot to tell the staff about several important things. The main one that she failed to inform them was that I have a SEVERE shellfish allergy. I asked to the wedding to be shellfish-free which Aimee "confirmed." During our cocktail hour, a server informed us that ALL of them were in contact with shellfish. I wasn't able to eat anything which was extremely disappointing! Mainly due to the lack of communication, we felt that we needed additional wedding coordinators to help with even just the basics. Again, Bear Creek was absolutely gorgeous, and the rest of the staff on location are incredible! We tried to give Aimee Whitenight a chance but we DO NOT recommend her at all!
