I was truly in awe of how my event turned out. Donna of DBC Eventz INC. did an amazing job bringing the vision to life. Donna went above and beyond finding intricate items that went with the theme and thought outside the box with the decorations. The entire space was decorated beautifully from top to bottom. Donna understood the assignment and took it to the next level. Donna included me and kept me up to date on where she was with the status of my party. Donna even assisted me with finding the right person to make a cake, DJ the event and take pictures and videos at the event. I was able to have an entrance area, seat all my guest comfortably, have a dance floor, a bar and a separate food area. I will definitely be using DBC Eventz Inc. for my future events.

If you are questioning if you need a day of coordinator…the answer is yes, yes, you do. I had a micro wedding in December of 2023. I wanted to have a stress free wedding day…or as stress free as possible. My fiancé and I interviewed a few coordinators early in 2023. We really liked Ashley’s demeanor and vibe on the phone. She asked thoughtful questions, listened to our answers, and asked good follow ups. Through out the process of creating the timeline for the wedding day, she asked questions to figure out logistics that I didn’t even think about. My fiancé and I were using the same car to get to our venue and she helped us map out that timeline. I am so glad she did because we needed to do some slight adjustments to the rental timeframe. That’s just one example of the attention to detail that she has, which made our day go great! She was involved in every aspect from the transportation company, photographer, venues, etc. She asked questions to understand guest dynamics and if there was anything she needed to be aware of in that regard. I didn’t even think about that until she posed the question! There was a very minor snafu the day of due to the bridesmaids making an unplanned detour from the ceremony to the reception. Ashley listened to me vent, had 2 different solutions thought though, helped me change into my tennis shoes from heels, and above all…kept me calm! Though we only booked her for the day, she sent follow up messages, a holiday card and is helping us nudge along one of our vendors for their deliverables, post wedding. Do not underestimate the value of a day of coordinator! I am SO extremely happy that we booked Ashley. She feels like a friend at this point!

We booked Erin and her team with the Just the Deets package. This is her "lowest" level of service despite the thorough and consistent support she provided throughout the entire planning process. Erin is organized, readily available, and is a constant bright spot in wedding planning! She was a fantastic resource to bounce ideas off, ask questions, and make sure we were on track throughout our planning. She is a wealth of knowledge- especially if you are getting married at The Willows at Ashcombe Mansion, a venue she is at frequently and knows like the back of her hand! Erin will tell you her opinion when asked, but is always ready to jump in 110% no matter what you choose and make it happen (Sorry for making you nervous when we gave our crazy pup our actual rings!!!). She is ready to play the "bad guy" when you need a small army, and can fluently switch to whatever language groomsmen speak to wrangle them quickly for rehearsal. Knowing Erin and her team had the day HANDLED, I walked into my wedding day stress-free knowing that there was nothing I needed to do or worry about. I never would have guessed that I would have described myself as a calm bride the day of my wedding, but Erin made it easy. I was able to truly enjoy the day because of Erin, and I wouldn't trade that confidence or peace of mind for anything! If you're still looking around or debating whether or not to book with Ryan Planning Plus, do future you a favor and just book with them now! Unless you don't like feeling like a VIP client, would prefer to worry on your wedding day, or simply like to make bad choices... then sure, book elsewhere ;) Otherwise, if you want to have the smoothest wedding experience possible, book with Erin!!!

Kaity did a great job, especially considering all the uncertainty of bad weather (my ceremony was outdoors) we had to all deal with. She always had an upbeat and positive attitude the whole time, which I know can be very difficult to do around my family. She definitely would just roll with all the punches to keep us on track. I was anxious the entire day, but Kaity reassured me that she had everything under control and I knew I could trust her. She even went out of her way to get me and my husband little care packages on the day of, with inspiring notes. The only hiccups I actually noticed was with announcements and speeches, because the volume and echo was not great, so people didn't know when things were actually happening, so I wish we could've told the DJ sooner to fix the issue. We had also wanted to have our dinners boxed up, because my husband and I were both too anxious and excited to really eat, so our food ended up being thrown away, plus we didn't receive the top tier of our wedding cake to save for the tradition thing (but my guess is because they served it all to the guests). Unfortunately, at the end of the night, we were super rushed to get everything out of the building, because of the time and the pouring rain- I was running around barefoot in my dress while my husband was passed out in the car, and I was one of the few trying to get everything packed and cleaned up. However, Kaity and her husband really helped us out by collecting all the left items and holding onto them for us until the next day. She kept in contact, since at least a month beforehand, to make sure we had everything in order and sent her all the vendor contacts , so she could be included with all the day-of plans. She really did go above and beyond to make sure I had the best day possible, and I really appreciated that from her. I would definitely hire her again.

Being new to planning a wedding, we had no idea what we were signing up for. Quickly into the planning process, we realized we needed help to pull off our special day. The process of finding a day-of coordinator felt overwhelming—until we found MK Events. The clarity with which they outlined their duties gave us the confidence we needed to know we were in capable hands. I truly cannot think of a single critique. Without Melissa and Kourtney, I would have felt completely overwhelmed. They held everything together with such grace, a fun spirit, and a calm demeanor that was not only infectious but grounding and very much needed on a day filled with heightened emotions. We were even treated to a lovely surprise when they sent us some candid background photos they had taken and a lovely bouquet of our table flowers for both me and my fiancée, as well as our parents. Their willingness to step in and handle any task, from filling vases with stones and sand to troubleshooting last-minute issues, was beyond what we ever expected. These women are true superstars. We initially booked MK for day-of coordination because we didn’t realize how much would fall on us. We found ourselves becoming increasingly overwhelmed with all the tasks—decorating, moving decor, coordinating vendors and family photographers, and so much more. Talk about making the impossible, possible! I had worked with MVW Events to plan a surprise engagement picnic for my then girlfriend, now wife. Around the time, I was wrapping up my graduate program and set to graduate the day after I planned on proposing. MVW helped me set the vision for the picnic and coordinated sourcing vendors for the right deals on items that would make the moment extra special. With all the details in place, I was confident in what we had planned and was actually less nervous about the whole bended knee thing because of it. Fast forward to the day of and guess what ... It RAINED!! so the park area I had in mind did not allow folks on the grass after fresh rain so we had to change plans on the fly. Morgan and her super creative brain proposed she and her team set up everything in my apartment instead. That way we could have everything we needed for the occasion within arms reach. She even secretly met me while I was out with my partner at a school event to grab my apartment keys and head over to set everything up while I was out. When we got home, when I say the place looked like MAGIC!! We were both blown away (but of course I had an idea of what to expect). And of course, it went perfectly from there. Steph was absolutely PHENOMENAL coordinating our day! She managed the daunting task of keep my husband and I, plus our crazy families, and just made our day absolutely perfect! We loved her up-beat personality and can-do attitude! We found her around 30 days before the day of, and she reassured me (I might of had a slight breakdown) that is was normal and completely fine. We had an unfortunate bump in the road when the venue let go of the manager we were working with, but Steph took charge and contacted our other vendors to ensure the day went off without a hitch, and she delivered! She set up our decorations, including our beautiful chuppah (pic included) and it was everything we imagined. It was absolutely perfect, and we couldn't be happier!
