They wanted a unique home with Colorado history so they modeled the building after Bent's Fort off the Santé Fe Trail. Originally it was supposed to be a summer home but decided to add the restaurant before construction was completed. The Fort has been owned and operated by the Arnold Family for 60 years. We are known for our buffalo and game meats as well as our historical mountain ambiance. The Fort features seven different private areas for your reception, depending on your group size. The Lumber Baron Inn & Gardens is an enchanting wedding venue located in Denver, Colorado. Dating back to 1890, this mansion was romantically constructed by John Mouat as an ode to his beloved wife, Amelia. Clock Tower Events is under new management and located in downtown Denver. Prior to 1950 the Daniels & Fisher Department store was the ‘crown jewel’ of the Denver skyline. Built in 1911, the D&F Tower was the tallest structure west of the Mississippi, at a height of 393 feet. In the 1960’s after financial ruin the building was set to be demolished. In the early 1970’s, Denver was able to save the actual clock tower from being destroyed. The oldest remaining structure in Denver’s iconic Union Station neighborhood, historic Hose House No. 1 was one of the first fire stations in Denver. This fire station preceded paid City of Denver fire departments and began as a volunteer fire station in 1881. Now, it has been lovingly restored and re-imagined as an iconic, inclusive kitchen and bar.
