About this venue
Welcome to the "sweet gem" of Steamboat Springs. We invite couples to join us at our beautiful working ranch in the Elk River Valley. Aspen groves, valley vistas for miles, and mountains you can touch will make your special day memorable. We are a premier barn venue that specializes in that "wow" factor as well as fun! We treat you the way we would want to be treated, and with our limited number of events, we ensure every wedding is unique. Each and every event is curated - allowing for complete individuality. While couples and their guests enthuse about the beautiful views, they love the personal touch we, owners and staff, bring to events. Please note we want you to be relaxed and present on your day, so we provide an additional day for set up and for breakdown. However, there are no overnight accommodations.

Event Pavilion
The most epic space in the Rockies.
This space is a blank canvas for you to paint your reception picture on. With draping, it can be as intimate or as expansive as you want. The event pavilion has beautiful market lighting throughout accented by wrought iron chandeliers, and is just waiting for your decorative ideas. Both ends of the arena have huge roll-up doors, and the view from the south side is spectacular.

Steamboat's only barn venue.
Steamboat is known for it's famous barn - yet this is the only venue with a barn in Steamboat! Gorgeous wood paneling greets your guests and it includes romantic, dimmable Edison lighting. Whether used for cocktails or an intimate reception, our barn provides memorable moments.

Best Venue Ever
We had the wedding of our dreams at La Joya Dulce. We knew the first time that we visited the ranch that we’d be getting married here. We got married here in September and the fall colors look incredible in our photos. We had the privilege of working with Croix as our wedding planner. She was so kind, organized, and was incredibly accommodating to our busy schedules. She provided support every step of the way. Our big day couldn’t have gone better! Kathie, Croix, and the entire La Joya team work so well together and ensure that everything goes perfectly. I can’t recommend this venue enough!

Kathy, Tommi, and the entire team at LJD made sure every detail was accounted for from the chargers for plates to the vintage rug runway from cocktail hour to the reception. It truly was the best day of our lives with a backdrop our guests will never forget and won't stop posting about! The team ensured our wedding experience was about all about US on our big day, which was so important to us. I couldn't have asked for a more thoughtful, diligent, and well rounded team on my wedding day. The atmosphere of the venue is truly breathtaking.

We live here locally in Steamboat and it meant the world to us to be able to get married here. Everything about this venue is amazing! We had the best experience and our guests were VERY impressed! They truly put the bride and groom first while also providing an amazing experience for their guests. The wedding day was stress free, as the staff are professionals and made the day seem seamless. My wedding coordinator Kylie was absolutely amazing and made us feel so comfortable. She was calm, cool and collected the entire time. The venue is beautiful, and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and confident about the big day. I would recommend La Joy Dulce to anyone and everyone! They were responsive, encouraging and very easy to communicate with from day one.

We couldn't have had a better wedding experience than La Joya Dulce. Kathie and Kylie were attentive to our needs, had great vendor recommendations and helped us pull off the wedding of our dreams in Steamboat! Our guests were SO impressed by the stunning views and the other perks--Smores cart, vintage car, vintage tractor, yard games, etc. It was truly an amazing day I will treasure forever! Coming from IL the scenery was our FAVORITE part. 2nd to none!
