The American Mountaineering Center, formally Golden High School for over 60 years, is now the nation's premiere facility for education, research, conversation and information about the mountain environment.. As the premier mid-sized, mountain themed, rental space in the Denver Metro area, we look forward to your visit and hosting your unique meetings and events. With a state of the art museum and library, conference space, auditorium, climbing wall, free parking, and spectacular views of North and South Table Mountains, your group is sure to be inspired to new heights!

Looking for a fun twist? Our state-of-the-art American Mountaineering Museum is a welcoming space for a cocktail reception or as a group activity for your guests. Smaller, more intimate weddings might also considering using the Museum's arching double staircase as the ideal place to exchange vows.

Foss Auditorium

The original auditorium from Golden High School! The stage is bookended with Beaux-Arts style Columns. A 350 seat Auditorium, complete with upgraded A/V and projection equipment. A great option to play movies if you need entertainment for your younger guests.
