Juniper Mountain House is a boutique hotel and gathering space overlooking the foothills of Evergreen, Colorado just 30 minutes from Denver. With five private guest rooms and a wide range of common spaces, you’ll have the run of our scenic mountain retreat. With 10 acres of dynamic indoor and outdoor spaces, we aim to create truly memorable experiences for you and your group of up to 60 people. As a small boutique hotel, we only offer two to three wedding slots per month, which means your day will truly be one of a kind.

romantic sigh... what to say about Juniper. do i start with the incredible and lovely hosts, the stunning ceremony space, the perfectly curated decor, the warm and cozy fireplaces scattered throughout the property, or the gorgeous patio turned reception area? all of these things and more are exactly why my husband and i chose to have our wedding at Juniper. it was the perfect intimate and intentional space we were looking for and we could not be any happier with our decision )

We fell in love with Juniper from the beginning. Its gorgeous and the perfect setting for an intimate wedding. The venue owners were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout and went above and beyond to accommodate us. There are some minor drawbacks to the location (need to hire transpo, unable to get ready at the location all day, etc.) but logistically those things can be worked around and did not take away from our experience. Overall, we would host our wedding at Juniper a million times over if we could!

We didn't originally plan on having a smaller wedding but once we toured Juniper we couldn't picture having our wedding anywhere else. The property is so special and the owners, Ashley & Alea are the most hospitable people we encountered during the wedding planning process! Having a smaller wedding was the best choice we made as we were so relaxed and had so much fun at our wedding. So many guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended, and we agreed!! We stayed at the venue the night of our wedding with a few close friends and waking up the next morning and sipping coffee on the Juniper deck as a newly married couple was a highlight of the weekend. Absolutely recommend Juniper as a venue and we are excited to visit Juniper for special occasions for years to come.

My partner and I had our wedding here in June 2024 and it was the venue of our dreams! Ashley and Alea have done a fabulous job at curating the perfect cozy mountain house that is both elegant and home-y. We looked at many mountain venues in Colorado and nothing compares to Juniper Mountain House. The space itself is stunning, and the owners service makes it all the more spectacular. Ashely and Alea were very easy to communicate with during the planning process and worked with our planner on the day of the ensure everything went smoothly! All of our guests fell in love with the venue and had a wonderful time. We can't wait to celebrate anniversaries here in the coming years!

No, Juniper is a liquor licensed venue. All alcohol and bartending service must be purchased through Juniper. We offer a variety of bar packages.

Our parking lot is small! We can accommodate 7 cars parked on our property. All additional vehicles (vendor or guests) must park offsite. We recommend a shuttle service for your guests.

While Juniper is not ADA compliant, our deck and lower level lounge can be accessed without the use of stairs. The walk to the Meadow is a three-minute gently sloping, natural hike. It is not accessible by car and not suitable for guests with wheelchairs or walkers. Elderly guests with balance issues will need assistance to get to the Meadow.

Venue payments are non-refundable, but we do allow for a reschedule of the event pending availability.

Yes, you will need to get insurance if your event has over 11 guests.

Any person who occupies a seat is included in the guest count, including the couple and children. Infants and vendors are not included.

Colorado weather is fickle and can change quickly. At Juniper we hold weddings rain or shine! We have one outdoor heater for use and a sun shade that can be erected in case of light rain.

We do not have any vendor restrictions, but we do have a list of recommended vendors that work seamlessly with our space! Just ask us for a list of preferred vendors.

Yes! We allow leashed dogs on our property. We also have pet friendly rooms.

We have contracted with McArther Weddings and Events to include their Events Management package (an $1,850 value), beginning 60 days out, in your venue rental fee to ensure your day at Juniper is as seamless as possible. They will be in contact with you after you book to provide you with assistance throughout the wedding planning process. They will also be onsite for day-of coordination.

No, Juniper does not have a bridal suite. Check in time on the day of the wedding is at 3 p.m. If your wedding timeline allows for time to get ready, you may do so in one of our guest rooms any time after 3 p.m. Common spaces will be reserved for reception preparation. We encourage our couples to get ready off site and arrive ready for photos.

No, additional nights may not be added for the whole lodge. Due to our limited availability, wedding openings are available for one night only. Depending on scheduling and availability and on a case-by-case basis, the couple may be able to extend their stay in a single room beyond one night.
