About this venue

Clock Tower Events is under new management and located in downtown Denver. Prior to 1950 the Daniels & Fisher Department store was the ‘crown jewel’ of the Denver skyline. Built in 1911, the D&F Tower was the tallest structure west of the Mississippi, at a height of 393 feet. In the 1960’s after financial ruin the building was set to be demolished. In the early 1970’s, Denver was able to save the actual clock tower from being destroyed. Now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it lights up the Denver skyline and remains a defining building for downtown. Now, the top five floors of this beloved structure are available for smaller, private events through Clock Tower Events. Located 20 floors up in Downtown Denver, the recently renovated space features décor that’s elegant & modern, breathtaking panoramic views of the skyline & surrounding mountain ranges from two balconies & offers guests the opportunity to see behind the mysterious clock faces.

I was hired to play a two hour wedding proposal event at the Clock Tower and the venue and staff were great to coordinate with! Renee’s attention to detail and clarity of communication made this incredibly smooth and stress free! The space is beyond unique and the couple enjoyed their ability to book a live musician for their proposal. Would absolutely play another event at the Clock Tower!

The elevator will take you up to the 17th floor, but stairs are required to get to the 5 other floors.

There is metered parking surrounding us as well as a plethora of paid lots and garages.

Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable but we will work with you to reschedule. If you cancel your event within 40 days of your booked date, we’ll bill you the full amount of all estimated charges.

Yes, we charge a corkage fee of $10 per bottle for wine and liquor.

No, our facilities are not wheelchair accessible. The floors are accessible only by stairs.

Set up, clean up, tables, and linens.

Depending on the booking, your reservation includes six hours from start to finish, including the time it takes our staff to set up and clean up. Any additional time will be billed at $200 per hour.

You can reach our venue by public transportation via the subway or train, or by private car or taxi.
