    Working with Serendipity Catering is always a treat. Not only do they consistently deliver delicious food that wows guests, but they are also incredibly efficient and professional in every aspect of their service. I’ve seen them adapt to various wedding themes and dietary needs with ease, making sure every guest is satisfied.     Serendipity Catering was great to work with! As a wedding planner, it's SO nice to have vendors who are responsive and detailed, and everyone I worked with at Serendipity was both! When we had to shift the schedule a bit, the entire team was flexible and willing, with smiles on their faces. I would absolutely recommend them and hope to work with them again soon!

    Serendipity Catering was the perfect choice for our intimate micro wedding of 26 people at an Airbnb. Their communication was quick and responsive, and they had no issues helping us move the dinner service up by an hour to accommodate the sunset. The quality of their work was excellent - everyone raved about how moist the chicken was, and the desserts were absolutely delicious. We weren't sure how the food would travel, but it arrived fresh and flavorful. Serendipity Catering truly contributed to making our special day perfect.

    Let me start by saying that the food was absolutely delicious which is really what you are hiring a caterer for. The jalepeno gouda mashed potatoes were to die for and the flank steak and chimichurri tasted so good! They allowed us to customize all aspects of our menu and everyone really enjoyed the food! We were even able to do breakfast burritos as a late night snack for after dancing! However, there were a couple of errors along the way that I think are worth mentioning so other couples are aware. When we got our quote with Serendipity, linens/flatware/plates/etc were included which is done through a separate company Event Rents. While we absolutely understand this means they do not have control or possibly up to date estimates on costs, our quote grossly underestimated what would be needed for our event. For example, Serendipity was aware that we were doing a buffet and a bar but no linens were included for those in the quote. Even the most basic plates, napkins and glassware cost more per person which we found out only months before the wedding and well after guests had been invited and we had made commitments. Additionally, on the day of the wedding, Serendipity did not bring mixer for one of our signature drinks, a margarita. This was not discovered until cocktail hour had already begun. Our day-of coordinator solved the problem as quickly as possible by sending out someone to get said mixer, which was luckily found as we were at a relatively remote venue. However, it left us being unable to serve or personally enjoy one of our favorite drinks until much later in the evening and resulted in us having a lot of left over mix which we had paid for but was not used. We certainly understand that errors are bound to pop up occasionally with wedding and large event planning but it was disappointing nonetheless.

    Creating memorable experiences is our top priority. We are happy to know the food was excellent, but we are disappointed to hear some of your expectations were not met. There is an understanding that event logistics and pricing can change from the initial proposal. We strive to be transparent and flexible with every step of our planning process. We are disheartened that the communication that was had between you and your service consultant and catering captain was not sufficient enough to resolve this concern. We really appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to improve.
