The Farm at 95 offically opened it's doors in October of 2013 and to this day is one of the two largest venues in Johnston County (oh, our sister location is the other larges venue)! Our space can accommodate anywhere from 80 to 400 guests, with separate rooms for food, dedicated dressing rooms, a well equipped stage and a relaxing patio heaters, fans and a gas fire pit. When you inquire, you will also receive information about our sister location, The Farm at 42, which we opened in March of 2018. This venue is similar to The Farm at 95, but has simple improvements such as larger dressing suites, upgraded finishes and a completely different ceremony setting. We hope that between one of our locations, we are able to work together to plan your pefect day!

I truly have nothing but wonderful things to say about this venue, the staff, the accommodations, and their professionalism and attention throughout the whole year long engagement! Rachel, the manager, is extremely attentive, communicative, professional, kind, and helpful! Anytime I had a question throughout the year, she was very quick to answer thoroughly. She is very flexible with coordinating meetings and walk-through with vendors at the venue and thorough in explaining all the venue has to offer for wedding day (which is a lot!) On the wedding day, having a staff member present at all times is so helpful and comforting. And including the provision and set-up of tables and chairs is HUGE! This eliminated so much stress. The bar staff was also very friendly and accommodating on wedding day with meeting my requests for set-up. And of course, the photo ops at this venue are truly endless and the beautiful options for ceremony and reception set-up are amazing. The big space is exactly what we needed for our big wedding and we never felt crowded. The dance floor was the perfect size for our all night party! I truly couldn’t be happier with my decision to get married at this venue for all the reasons listed above.

So glad we chose The Farm at West Prong Acres to be our wedding venue! It is absolutely beautiful, and Amy is amazing to work with. We didn’t have a wedding planner/coordinator and she stepped in and helped wherever she could. The venue had plenty of space to host our 100ish guest wedding and the airbnb was perfect for the bridal party to get ready in. We were able to be creative and have the wedding of our dreams, I wish I could add all of the photos but Zola won’t let me. It was absolutely beautiful and I’m so thankful I used this amazing venue for my wedding day!

I honestly couldn’t have picked a better venue than Waverly Estate. There’s no venue like it that gives you the flexibility of coming in on Friday & staying until Sunday. We had no worries about clean up after the reception or scrambling the morning of between a hotel & the venue for getting ready. On top of all of that, the all inclusive package that Waverly has is NEXT LEVEL. I didn’t have to search for vendors because Waverly had them already available & built into my package. It was an absolute dream to have one less thing to stress about. Their coordinator, Rachel, is absolutely amazing too. She answered every question I had & was the best cheerleader for us on wedding day. She had everything completely organized & made my vision come true for our wedding. My wedding was a dream come true, in huge part to the team at Waverly Estate.

The venue can seat around 200 guests comfortably. The main space is a dream with beautiful white shiplap walls, gorgeous stained plank cathedral ceiling and lots of natural light. The main space is heated and cooled so you can be comfortable in any season. There is a covered porch that leads to a large flagstone patio with a white fireplace, this is a great space for rehearsal dinners or just an extension of the reception space. The bridal suite is in a separate building adjacent to the venue. Recently built in 2023, with nearly 800 sq feet you and your wedding party will have a comfortable space to enjoy the day. Finally, there is an open air chapel that can seat 200 guests comfortably. It has beautiful cathedral style windows in the front and back of the chapel and open arches on the sides. This chapel will make a great rain back up option for your wedding day or if you love it as much as we do, it can be a beautiful plan A option as well.

Amanda and Todd truly made our wedding memorable. All the guests commented on how beautiful their property is. Very professional and easy to work! We toured eight venues before my husband came across their venue and it was a fantastic decision. They have so many options for where you want your ceremony to be held. Fortunately we had perfect weather, but their venue has the best back-up plan to hold a beautiful ceremony indoors if you need to or want to!

We booked The Gala 417 for our wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made. The venue is absolutely beautiful, and the food is delicious, but the best aspect of this venue is definitely the staff. The owners and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the planning process. We loved how accommodating they were from the very beginning. You can tell they want your day to be exactly how you envision it. They were so flexible with the food menu, drink options, and decorations. For instance, the bride wanted to create an elaborate dessert table because she runs her own baking business. The staff helped make the bride’s wish happen. We dropped all the desserts off at the venue in the morning, and they had the dessert display set up perfectly for the reception. On our wedding day, the staff took care of every detail and ensured that the ceremony and reception ran smoothly. We like being prepared and organized, so we really appreciated how well coordinated everything was. After the ceremony, the staff quickly flipped the room for the reception, setting up tables, centerpieces, and other decorations. If there were any issues that day, we never heard about them because the staff is that good. Our wedding was a perfect day, and The Gala 417 is a major reason for that. We could not have booked a better venue. We cannot thank you enough for taking care of our guests and us on the best day of our lives!

Beautiful venue, great service, and exactly what we needed for our big day. If you are like me and have your heart set on an outdoor wedding, this is absolutely the way to go to have a built-in backup plan! Sure enough, it rained through almost our entire reception, but we were able to still be outside and under cover in the arena, where we ended up doing everything from the ceremony to dinner to dancing. We wish we could have used the venue as originally planned (with the ceremony under the beautiful oak tree and dancing on the patio in front of the new outdoor fireplace) but I was so happy to not have to move things completely inside, which we would have had to do at other venues. On top of that, Julia and her husband were great to work with throughout the whole process, they provided and offered a lot of what we needed from tables and chairs to decor, the bridal suite and groom’s suite were wonderful comfortable places to get ready, and the horses added just the right fairytale touch.

Want to thank Michelle, Natalie, and their staff for pulling off a flawless company dinner at the Hounds Tale Kitchen. They made it easy by first proposing some menu ideas. Then we met with them once to get a layout of the space and brainstormed more options. Once the menu was set, we basically just showed up at the date and time of the scheduled event. What made it refreshing was that it did not feel nickel and dimed, my team didn't have to set up, or break it all down. The space is fun with huge pictures originated by a local artist, Bob Oller, filling the wall space. The colors in the space are exhilarating. We had a group of 24 and their team was able to pull together two long tables of 12 with high tops around the room. There was plenty of room to fit everyone with space to spare. Their catering served on time and the food was wonderful. The Hounds Tale Kitchen does have a projector and screen if you want to show a presentation and, basically, have your all-day event in the same space. I would definitely recommend the Hounds Tale Kitchen for your event.

Artistic wood features abound throughout the barn. Much of the wood, harvested right from the property, was meticulously shaped by hand to add a warm artistic feel to the spaces within. Along with a 2,000 square foot banquet room, there's a bridesmaids get-ready suite, caterer's prep room, restroom facility, and an outdoor bar and patio areas. Also located on the property is a pre-civil war log cabin available for overnight accommodations for event guests. The peaceful country setting offers many other options if you choose to celebrate your special day with an outdoor ceremony and reception.

We cannot thank Chris and Jenny enough for giving my wife and I the most amazing day and wedding venue. From the moment we stepped foot on Countyline we knew this was where we wanted to get married. It had exactly what we were looking for - from the indoor/outdoor spaces to the beautiful natural scenery. Not only was the venue perfect but Chris and Jenny were awesome to work with. They made the process super easy with the help of their preferred vendor lists and working with their son Collin as our DJ. Leading up to the big day they were very accommodating with anything that they needed from seeing the venue multiple times to finishing up last minute details the day before. Every time we think back to our wedding day we can't say enough how grateful we are to have found Countyline Vineyard & Venue and had celebrated with all of our family and friends.

Cumberland Estate is unbelievable. If you’re looking for that perfect place for your dream wedding, look no further. Tucked back in the woods it opens up to a beautiful plantation that sits along the Pumunkey River. The views and landscape are breathtaking. From the flower gardens to the weeping willow cascading over the ponds , it’s romantic and beautiful. My husband and I got married at the estate in 2021. We stayed on the property in the Carriage House the night before and the night of our wedding. The Carriage House is also used for any guests that want to stay at the Estate. We just recently stayed again for our one year anniversary! It was just as wonderful as it was for our wedding! The staff here is amazing. They made sure we had everything we needed and they are so thoughtful. I definitely recommend Cumberland. There’s plenty of beautiful scenery for the perfect wedding photos. This place is like a fairytale. So magical! Oh, did I mention there’s a pool too?!

We had our wedding there last month, a small one with 60 guests. Tiffanie was great coordinating everything, she is very knowledgeable and always made me feel like there was nothing to worry about and it wasn’t, everything went perfect, very smooth and she really took care of every detail without me or my family having to worry. The staff are great, friendly, professional and they always looked happy to take care of our guests. I also work in the hospitality industry, and I was impressed. The food was delicious, we opted for a plated dinner with 3 choices plus a vegan one for a couple of guests and every single one was great. Bartender was also on point and my guests were very happy about that. Now about the venue itself, it’s beautiful, we had the ceremony outside by the water and reception indoors at the ballroom, the bridal suit is great, it has a lot of space for everyone to get ready and access to everything we could possibly need. It is a busy place with a lot of members so there is a chance of other events to be happening at the same time but trust me when I say you won’t even notice, they do a great job with scheduling and keeping events separated.

I don’t know where to begin. I had the best experience with Kiln Creek Golf Club and Resort! Not only do they have a breathtaking venue but they have the most helpful staff. Let me start with Ruthanne Ferguson the Assistant Director of Sales. She was the best! Always responsive and always welcomed my ideas. I decided to go the DIY route and she was super supportive and helped bring my vision to life. I sent her a photo of how I wanted the ballroom decorated and she exceeded my expectations. Ruthanne partnered with my Wedding Coordinator the day of the wedding and they shielded me from all the chaos (very minor issues). I visited several other venues in the Hampton Roads area and I am so glad I choose Kiln Creek. We stayed on site in their hotel and the rooms are beautiful. My bridesmaids and I got ready in our hotel room while groomsmen and grooms got ready in the locker rooms. Not only are the rooms spacious but they also make a great background for photos. I’ve been to a few weddings and the food is typically the most disappointing part. That was not the case at Kiln Creek! All of their food was amazing. From the hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour down to the dinner at the reception. My favorite was the ham biscuits and salmon. I could go on and on about how great this place is and how they made my day so special. It’s been 2 weeks since our wedding and I’m still getting calls with people raving about how beautiful our day was. I can’t say thank you enough to Ruthanne and Kiln Creek. I will never forget that special day.
