Deep Creek Landing Marina is a charming oceanfront wedding venue located in Newport News, VA. The property is operated by a team of seasoned professionals that are dedicated to the success of your event. Whether inside or outside, you and your nearest and dearest guests can enjoy spectacular views of the enchanting harbor. With yachts in all shapes and sizes, you can look forward to a distinctly nautical backdrop for your nuptial photographs. We have no stipulations on vendors, food and beverage minimums, or times that your ceremony or reception must occur in. Chic Rustic Waterfront Hall with a View

With a neutral palette, it can serve as a blank canvas for a plethora of wedding themes. The rows of windows also help to make the space light and airy. Optimized for maximum flexibility, the room can be arranged using many kinds of layouts. There is an intimate ceremony site outside on the lawn that features a memorable waterfront backdrop. Access is also provided to the fully covered deck, an ideal space for cocktail hours and general socializing during the wedding.

    The a/c unit will not keep up with over 50 guest. If you ask why the a/c is not working they will blame you for it. They charge you a cleaning fee and make you clean after the event. Deposit is something that you will never get back. If you do rent the space, do not clean up after, you are going to pay for it anyways. Watch Out!!

    Neil, I'm sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with your experience. However, it's important to clarify a few points regarding your feedback. First, the Cleaning Services were not included in your contract, which means you were responsible for cleaning Keffer Hall and the Bridal Suite. We provide all necessary cleaning supplies to assist with this. Unfortunately, after your event, the venue was not vacuumed, kitchen appliances were left dirty, windows were not cleaned, there were multiple carpet stains, significant marks on the porch, drink stains on the walls, flower petals on the lawn, and trash scattered around the grounds. To avoid this situation, Cleaning Services can be added before your 60-day deposit. Regarding the air conditioning, our system is designed to handle up to 80 people with all windows and doors closed in hot summer weather. During your event, there were over 80 guests, and doors were frequently opened and closed. Given the high outdoor temperature of over 100 degrees, the AC unit could not keep up under these conditions of the person limit and windows and doors being opened. We regret that you were unhappy with your experience at Keffer Hall, but please understand that we were within our contract terms to withhold the deposit to cover the cost of hiring a cleaning team. We wish you and your new bride all the best and hope you have a wonderful honeymoon.

    Keffer Hall was a magnificent wedding venue and it was SO easy to work with their staff! Everyone was super friendly and helpful leading up to the wedding, and on the day of the wedding everything went off without a hitch. I can’t imagine a better place to have hosted our special day

    My husband and I recently got married at Deep Creek Landing Marina and the entire process was wonderful and everything went so smoothly. The staff is super sweet and was always very prompt in responding to my emails and answering my questions (and there were a lot). The venue space was a perfect fit for our wants and needs. The bridal suite was a lovely space for my bridesmaids and I to relax and get ready for the day. The only downside was that the AC was not working in the bridal suite but it was cool enough outside that we kept a door open and were mostly comfortable while getting ready. Everything was absolutely wonderful and my husband and I will definitely recommend Deep Creek Landing Marina to anyone looking for a venue for their event.
