About this venue

The Jiddi Space & Courtyard, part of Raleigh's Helig-Levine Complex, comprises four historic buildings dating back to the late 1800s. Originally a furniture and dry goods store, the space evolved into a stockroom for Heilig-Levine Furniture Store. Restored by Empire Properties in 2005, it now serves as an event venue managed by neighboring restaurants Sitti and Gravy. Hosting parties, weddings, and events, it retains its historic charm with market lights and a rich heritage spanning nearly 150 years.

The Jiddi Space & Courtyard in downtown Raleigh offers a unique blend of modern amenities and quaint charm. Located discreetly behind restaurants Sitti & Gravy, this versatile venue caters to various events including corporate gatherings, meetings, luncheons, retirement parties, social gatherings, and family celebrations like wedding ceremonies and receptions. The space can accommodate up to 120 guests for an indoor/outdoor, fully seated reception and dance floor. Additionally, amenities include tasting/logistic meetings, 100 dark wood padded folding ceremony chairs, and rehearsal walk-through services for ceremonies.

    Jiddi Space & Courtyard was an excellent choice for our wedding reception. Their communication throughout the planning process was responsive, pleasant, and professional. The ambiance of their venue was perfect for our wedding, with a beautiful space that allowed for a wonderful evening of celebration and dancing with our family and friends. The Jiddi team went above and beyond to make our special day truly magical, from the beginning of the planning stages to the end of the evening. The food was also delicious, and we would highly recommend Jiddi Space & Courtyard to others looking for a special event venue.
