    My now-husband and I had a wonderful experience working with Namu for our wedding. As both the venue and caterer, and with Madison as our in-house coordinator, Namu was a huge part of what made our event a success. We wanted a small, affordable, relaxed wedding with live music, flavorful food, and a unique vibe –Namu was a great fit.

    Namu was the perfect wedding venue for our special day. From the moment we first reached out, their communication was quick, accurate, and reliable - we always felt informed and supported throughout the planning process. On the day of, their day-of coordinator was a lifesaver, helping us sneak away for a private coffee break and accommodating a special meal request for the groom. The venue itself was spacious, magical, and filled with lush greenery, creating a truly romantic atmosphere. And the food? Absolutely delicious! The friendly, dedicated staff made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. If you're looking for an affordable, local, and lovely wedding venue, do yourself a favor and book Namu - you won't regret it!

    The food at Namu is great and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. However, the planning prior to the event, the service at the event and the follow up were not. Pre-planning: I had several meetings with the planning coordinator- she was lovely and sweet but not very organized. She did make good suggestions for the food choices which we decided on and she made notes about, but when the invoice came it was incorrect. She did correct it and make additional changes but the response was delayed. She was receptive to us bringing our own decorations (not confetti) and a 3 piece band. At the Event: 1. We arrived at the preplanned time to find nothing was set in the room - the tables had to be arranged and the bar set up. We needed to put out decorations and thought the room would be set when we arrived, but had to wait. It was stressful to try getting everything done before guests arrived. 2. The bar was only one person and she was overwhelmed the beginning of the event when most folks arrived. 3. The food was late coming out and it did not have everything I had paid for (some dishes missing). By the time this was discovered, most attendees were almost done eating. 4. The cake (that I supplied) was not brought out at the agreed upon time. By the time I realized, some guests had already left. I informed the coordinator that she forgot the cake and she rushed to find it and bring it out. Although everyone had a good time and most of this stuff went unnoticed by them, it was disappointing for me. I guess you get what you pay for - I could've booked a more pricey place and maybe gotten better service. All in all we had a good time.

    From the very beginning, Madison at Namu was incredibly proactive, prompt, kind and helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. The venue itself is truly amazing - the beautiful bamboo backdrop creates a gorgeous and unique setting for a wedding. Namu offers different areas to rent based on the style and size of your event, and they were extremely flexible in catering to our needs. They handled all the food and drinks for our wedding, which made things so much easier and allowed us to fully enjoy the day. Overall, we feel so lucky we had our wedding at Namu. The atmosphere was beautiful and everything was at a great value. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
