About this venue

The Farm at 42 offically opened it's doors in March of 2018! Our space can accommodate anywhere from 20 to 400 guests, with separate rooms for food, dedicated dressing rooms, a well equipped stage and a relaxing patio with heaters, fans and a gas fire pit. In addition, we have a smaller space (The Maple Room) that is perfect for those more intimate weddings of 60 guests or less, with "micro wedding" pricing. When you inquire, you will also receive information about our sister location, The Farm at 95, which we opened as our original location in 2013. This venue is similar to The Farm at 95, but has a few different finishes, skylight and a completely different ceremony setting. We hope that between one of our locations, we are able to work together to plan your pefect day!

The Oak Room

One of the largest event spaces in Johnston County!

Your rental includes our main space, which features a 5,000 sqft ballroom. Tables, chairs and linens are included in your rental of the space. You also have access to the attached patio, complete with gas fire pit, heaters & fans, 2 private dressing suites with private restrooms, seperate (but attached) food service room and seperate (but attached) catering kitchen.

Bar Service

The Farm at 42 holds a valid ABC Permit. You are able to choose 4 types of beer and 4 wine varietals to be served at your event. Liquor is permitted only with open bar service - details below. Open Beer & Wine Bar – $18.00/person over 21 years of age Limited Beer & Wine Bar* – You choose a dollar amount that you are comfortable spending. Once that limit is hit, we will convert to a cash bar. Cash Bar* – Guests pay for each drink themselves. *$500 minimum spend for limited & cash bars*

    My husband and I got married at The Farm at 42 in May of 2022 and we absolutely loved it! Rachel was amazing and so easy to work with! Everything about our day was perfect! The beautiful pond with the water fountain made the perfect view for our guests! We recommend it to anyone planning a wedding!
