I’m Sam, a wedding photographer known for thoughtful details, images that feel effortless, and a calm presence. I’ve been photographing weddings across the U.S. since 2011. Most couples tell me they’re not comfortable in front of the camera, and that’s completely normal. I’m experienced at guiding people just enough to feel at ease. Outside of weddings, I’m usually at home with my husband and our three kids, which has taught me a lot about patience, flexibility, and staying calm when plans inevitably change. Skills that turn out to be very useful on a wedding day.

What sets me apart -> The truth is most people don't like their picture taken so I've become pretty exceptional at using my sarcasm and goofy personality to make awkward... less awkward and more natural.

    BEST PHOTOGRAPHER EVER

    Sam went completely above and beyond her duties. When she first arrived I was not on schedule and couldn’t figure out how to get my dress laced. I was panicked! Sam saw the need and stepped in no questions asked, helped calm me down, and got us back on schedule all without making me feel rushed or anxious. She has a vision for every photo, she is direct and amazing at guiding people, and extremely efficient. I was amazed. She balanced things so that we got every photo we wanted but also got to be present and enjoy our wedding. Most importantly, the photos turned out so dreamy and perfect. I could not be happier.

    Absolutely amazing!

    I am speechless. Working with Sam was like having my best friend photograph my wedding! She had amazing ideas for poses and worked with us on poses we wanted as well. The whole process was easy and she communicates really well. Answered all of our questions and even made time to do video chats before the big day to ensure we were comfortable. She made a stressful morning fun and exciting! I honestly can’t imagine working with another photographer! I wish we lived closer to her so we could be photographed by her again! Everyone at our wedding continuously told us that our photographer was amazing. Our pictures are proof that she cares about her craft and really focuses on the details of the day. She worked to capture our love for each other in the pictures and we will truly treasure these pictures forever! Thank you a million times over Sam!! Our day wouldn’t have been complete without you!! HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a photographer!!

    Look no further - Sam is IT!

    I truly couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. Sam captured our day so beautifully, and our sneak peek gallery absolutely took my breath away. Beyond her talent, she was such a joy to work with. As a plus-size bride who never feels confident in my own skin, Sam had my back every step of the way. She knew exactly how to capture the best angles, made sure I felt comfortable, and was mindful of areas I didn’t want accentuated. I’m not someone who usually loves full-body photos, but Sam made me feel genuinely beautiful and confident on my wedding day. That alone means more than I can put into words.     Amazing Photographer!

    I highly recommend Samantha Lee Photography for your wedding and any other events you want to treasure for a lifetime! She is an amazing person to work with. The pictures she captured were beautiful and not to mention, she caught parts of my wedding day that I did not see. She truly helped capture a special day for my husband and I!

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening at no additional charge.
In my 15 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve cancelled 1 booking... Because I was in active labor :) In the extremely rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by another photographer that we agree on, or refund your entire booking fee including deposit.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.
My turnaround time varies by season, but max would be 5-6 weeks after you're wedding. Within this time, you can expect to receive a sneak peek as well as a link for your online gallery. The online gallery is where you will download all of your high-resolution image files, that you can share with your loved ones and order prints. If you book the Immersive package, then you will receive priority gallery delivery which is typically 2-3 weeks.
You can expect about 50-75 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I offer simple hourly pricing at $325/hour. 6+ hours → U.S. travel included

YES! Wouldn't even consider photographing a wedding without it. This protect you and me, and keeps every thing very transparent.
I require 50% down to secure the date. The rest of the balance is due 2 weeks before the wedding date.
