Our barn was converted from housing animals to being a center for theater and productions in the early 1900s and features a fantastic backdrop from a 1920's production. Founded in 1814, The West Boylston Company was a large textile manufacturer in West Boylston, MA. At the turn of the century the company faced a crisis: the site of their mill would be flooded to form the Wachusett Reservoir. Instead of abandoning the mill, the company dismantled it brick by brick and shipped it to its new home in Easthampton, where it was rebuilt on the banks of the Lower Mill Pond. Now, a century later, The Boylston Rooms retains the integrity of the 1814 original mill in every brick and beam. Our rental includes planners and decor at no added cost. The country estate sits on ten acres above the Holden Reservoirs, surrounded by a forest filled with old beech and birch trees. Stonehouse offers a serene event space surrounded by nature.

Historic, breath taking 4 story barn The farm and barn are about 200 years old, and the barn was originally used for cows. Over the years, it has been very well taken care of, so the original beams are still there, in sizes and shapes that you just can't get anymore! The owners are the third generation in their family to take care of the property and are very grateful to be the current stewards. The barn renovations completed in 2020 and it is all ADA compliant and up to code. In the barn, there is a full sound system, 14 chandeliers, a beautiful live edge bar top, two high end composting toilets (the flushing kind!), massive barn blue doors on each end, and a grand entrance staircase. The barn holds up to 200 people and is big enough that you don't have to rent a tent even with tables and chairs, a major benefit and money saver! In the event of rain, you can use the barn as a ceremony and reception space.

This historical site was first designed in 1927 for former governor of Massachusetts, Alvan Fuller. We are one of the last working formal estate gardens of the early 20th century. There is a Japanese garden, complete with a small bridge and Koi pond, which blooms in early May. South Church is a historic church in downtown Portsmouth, built circa 1825. There are no religious requirements to use the church for your wedding ceremony; you can use the officiant of your choice as long as they are legally allowed to perform a ceremony in the state of New Hampshire. South Church has a complete sound system so that couples and/or officiants can be heard, as well as use of the piano and/or organ, MP3 hookups, and pre-ceremony holding rooms. We work with many local florists, photographers, musicians, and officiants to assure your special day is exactly what you want it to be.

In 1928, Castle Hill was crowned with a 59-room Stuart-style mansion designed by world-renowned architect David Adler. Today, the Crane family mansion is known as The Great House on The Crane Estate and is protected, along with the rest of Castle Hill, as a 165-acre National Historic Landmark.

Kathy and John chased a dream to move to Vermont and start a farm, having had careers as science teachers in the Philadelphia area. Kathy had attended University of Vermont, fell in love with the state, and vowed to return one day. John left teaching to take his lifelong organic gardening passion to the next level. They looked at a number of farms across southern Vermont, and when they found the Farm at Williams River House, they knew they had found someplace really special – a front row view of Fox Chair Mountain, verdant green hayfields, timeless stone walls and split rail fences, and a stately home dating back to the time of our nation’s founding! They were home, and they wanted to share this magical and romantic space with others.
