About this venue

Historic, breath taking 4 story barn The farm and barn are about 200 years old, and the barn was originally used for cows. Over the years, it has been very well taken care of, so the original beams are still there, in sizes and shapes that you just can't get anymore! The owners are the third generation in their family to take care of the property and are very grateful to be the current stewards. The barn renovations completed in 2020 and it is all ADA compliant and up to code. In the barn, there is a full sound system, 14 chandeliers, a beautiful live edge bar top, two high end composting toilets (the flushing kind!), massive barn blue doors on each end, and a grand entrance staircase. The barn holds up to 200 people and is big enough that you don't have to rent a tent even with tables and chairs, a major benefit and money saver! In the event of rain, you can use the barn as a ceremony and reception space.

Description

$13,000 (peak) or $12,000 (off-peak) for a weekend wedding (Friday afternoon- Sunday afternoon). Includes three-bedroom on site Air BnB rental; lead up and day of coordination with Love Affair; indoor barn space; outdoor ceremony space; two indoor toilets; indoor bar/potluck area; indoor AP system; Wifi; ADA compliant barn and bathrooms; parking up to 150 cars. Signed contract, $750 refundable deposit, 50% non-refundable deposit (to go toward the $12K or $13k) to secure the date.

    We absolutely LOVE Saltonstall. We worked at the barn before the renovation, and after. Sophie & Kyle did an incredible job with the updates and renovations. It truly is a special place. There's nowhere else quite like it!

    Sophie and Kyle are down to earth, caring, and a joy to work with. We planned a wedding for June of 2020 and had to postpone the reception by a year, which was no problem at all. The farm is a truly idyllic setting, and the 5-story newly renovated barn is astoundingly beautiful and fully equipped for multimedia experiences. Everyone who attended our party had a well-deserved blast after sheltering in place for so long. Thank you, Saltonstalls! Best wishes for your new adventures. <3
