So we started Cathedral with one goal in mind — to build something that’s the sole purpose of existing was to make this world of ours a more just and beautiful place. Building things that matter takes time. Cathedrals took generations to build — those who began the work didn’t see its completion. The architect who drew up the plans would never see their spires rise. The mason laying the bricks would never stand under their cover.

Fremont Abbey is our main venue at 43rd & Fremont Avenue North in Seattle. The 1914 building was reopened in 2008 after undergoing major renovations including seismic, design, environment & visual improvements. As of 2023, we have installed a brand new HVAC system with air filtration and air-conditioning to our main upstairs hall. Now a beautiful & welcoming multi-use venue with a warm vintage style, the Abbey welcomes up to 250 people for events of many varieties including nonprofit galas, private weddings, receptions, parties, meetings, workshops, classes and more. We view weddings as an artistic, creative, community-celebrated gathering centered around the love and commitment of two people. The Gardens at FranMo Urban Farm offer a park-like setting abound with 100's of seasonal trees and plants creating dozens of places to capture stunning photographs. The Gardens offer a variety of unique staging locations, each surrounded by a never-ending montage of natural backdrops -- evergreens, deciduous trees, and seasonal flowering plants. Paul and Gwen bought a raw piece of farmland in 2003 with a vision to start a retail nursery just outside of Monroe Wa. Paul with his amazing vision, creativity, and hard work, started piecing together a beautiful work of art that became Pine Creek Farms and Nursery. A destination nursery that not only serves the Sky Valley but surrounding areas of Everett, Woodinville, Kirkland & Seattle... Naturally, the grounds became a beautiful place to hold special events, and after a handful of smaller events, Paul continued developing his idea of creating a venue that would provide an amazing garden setting for larger celebrations!
