Bok Vocational High School was built in 1936 to accommodate 3,000 students from across Philadelphia studying subjects like wallpapering, cosmetology, auto mechanics, bricklaying, and more. Due to decreased enrollment it was put up for auction in 2013 and by 2015 Scout, a multidisciplinary design firm with a background in transforming vacant spaces in creative ways, took ownership of the building. Now, Bok has been deemed as a historical building on the National Registry of Historic Places and houses more than 250 businesses and artists. It’s 340,000 square foot structure is also home to a cafe and an award-winning rooftop bar. The NSCDA/PA owns its Headquarters House located at 1630 Latimer Street in Philadelphia. Arch Street Meeting House is a historic wedding venue located in Old City Philadelphia. The land on which Arch Street Meeting House stands was officially deeded to the Quakers in 1701 and used as a burial ground until 1872. The building was constructed in stages from 1803-1811 when need arose of a larger Meeting House in Philadelphia. The site is still an active place of worship in addition to being used as an educational museum space, and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2011. It is frequently rented for conferences, weddings, dinners, and graduations. The building sits on just shy of 2 acres, and our grounds include both grassy & brick spaces and lots of mature trees. The entire site exudes an overall historic charm.

FringeArts is a unique venue in Old City with two versatile spaces that can be rented separately or together, based on the couple’s vision. Most often the spaces are rented together. Our restaurant can seat 80 or host a standing cocktail reception for 150. FringeArts can accommodate up to 200 guests for a seated dinner in their space. The two spaces are separated by a moveable air wall. We can host a ceremony and cocktail hour in the restaurant and in Haas Biergarten right outside, and then open the wall to reveal a dining room space in the FringeArts theater. After dinner, head back out to the main bar and hit up the dance floor, or head outside to Haas Biergarten. Outside we have a bar that is operational May-October, lawn games, fire pits, and a great view of the Ben Franklin Bridge!

Cecil Creek Farm is a 42-acre organic farm with a wedding barn in the Southern New Jersey area. The rustic barn features barnboard interior walls with vintage green shutters on the inside of the windows. The venue offers multiple outdoor or indoor settings for ceremony and cocktail hour before heading into the barn for dinner and dancing! This working organic vegetable and flower farm provides couples with two beautiful horses in a sunset-filled pasture overlooking the pond and galvanized windmill to take pictures before heading inside for their reception. Figo is an elevated Italian restaurant and bar that pays homage to handmade cuisine, craft cocktails, and a curated wine list. Taking inspiration from our Italian namesake Figo (or cool in Italian) we encourage our guests to slow down while we unite the tradition of Italian dining with the social scene of the area. Join us for distinctive features such as a customizable Italian soda platter and sophisticated craft cocktails. After indulging in our libations, guests are invited to explore our food menu rich with complex flavors that harness the sensation of a home cooked meal.

Mr. Renner made the decision to keep the original industrial scale for weighing wool, which you can still see inside our front foyer. Our first batch of Manayunk Brewing Company beer was tapped on October 17, 1996. Since then, we have brewed more than 600 different varieties of beers, and have been selling these sought-after styles all around Philadelphia and New Jersey. Our brewers continue to explore new takes on classic styles, especially when it comes to sour ales and India Pale Ales. You will no doubt see our delivery truck bringing goods to happy customers throughout the Philadelphia region! Mr. Renner’s daughter took over the building in 2004 and runs the restaurant and brewery along with her business partner Mike Rose. Since then, they have expanded the restaurant by installing a stone pizza oven and sushi bar, as well as a chic banquet space for weddings and meetings. We’ve also begun to offer kayak tours along the adjacent Schuylkill River during the warm months.
