Our multi-level decks offer a glorious open-air experience, as well as tented space, which is heated for year-round use. Thank you for inquiring about hosting your wedding celebration aboard the Moshulu; the World’s oldest and largest fourmasted Tall Ship. Located on Philadelphia’s Penn’s Landing, the Moshulu is a stationary restaurant. She is three hundred ninety seven feet long with masts towering two hundred twenty feet above the Wheelhouse Deck. Offering unsurpassed views and a unique experience, our private rooms and outdoor tented or open aired decks combined with delectable American cuisine and impeccable service make the Moshulu the perfect setting for your special day. We have five event spaces couples may use to host their celebration, all while enjoying the spacious, gorgeous boat. You may decorate the boat to fit your theme which, day and night, will be accentuated by the beautiful water. Such an impressive, unique location is sure to be branded in the your guests' memories.

    My husband and I got married on the Moshulu, a historic tall ship docked on the Delaware River waterfront in Philadelphia. We chose it for its unique and special venue at an affordable price. The Moshulu staff were fantastic - they responded quickly and clearly to all our questions while planning the wedding. On the big day, we had a private room and personal attendant who anticipated our every need, getting us anything we requested. They handled all the setup and cleanup, allowing us to fully enjoy our wedding day. The beautiful ship and views of the river created wonderful memories we'll cherish. We highly recommend the Moshulu for a one-of-a-kind, stress-free wedding that your guests will rave about.

    The Moshulu was the first venue we looked at and we instantly fell in love and knew it was where we wanted to host our wedding reception. First, the ship is absolutely stunning and we knew it would give such a unique experience to our guests. Because it has such charm and character, we were able to focus on key details like centerpieces and signage rather than needing to worry about dressing a blank space! But more importantly, we knew it was where we wanted to have our wedding because of how well we were treated by the Moshulu staff during every single interaction from our first tour until the big day! Jake was the absolute best to work with through everything! We found many other venues stick to a “cookie cutter” approach or up charge for every little thing… but as a vendor, the Moshulu was so incredibly flexible, collaborative, and accommodating with their wedding package to truly make it OUR day. It was such a pleasure to collaborate (and we really do mean collaborate!) with Jake and team on our vision, and our guests commented on the beauty of the ship all night long! We would highly recommend anyone host their event at the Moshulu!
