It is beautiful, unique, personal and was everything and more that I could have hoped for. Our wedding as at the end of June and we were very fortunate that the rain held off and the temperature/humidity ended up being perfect. We had about 185 guests attend the wedding and I think everyone was too stunned by the venue to even care about the drizzle of rain that was happening. Not to mention, Amelia and her staff are absolutely amazing from the very beginning to the very end.

My husband and I were married here on 7.13.2024. It was heavenly!!! When we toured other venues in the southwest Michigan region no place felt quite right. We happened to hear about Inisfree in passing and decided to drive over. Peggy and Bruce (the owners) couldn't have been kinder and more welcoming and they remained that way the entire process and continue to be! They have so much passion for Inisfree and it shows. The ground are beautiful and immaculate and they truly love to engage with people. We also rented all ten rooms out at the bed and breakfast for our wedding weekend and got special and intimate time with our friends- from pool time, garden/patio hangs, and delicious home made breakfasts (quiche, zucchini bread, blueberry muffins just to name some of my favorites). Our friends/wedding party who stayed onsite continue to rave about their stay and the guests of our wedding party couldn't get over how beautiful the property is. Everyone loved silent disco!!! Do you self a favor and book a tour. The place speaks for itself. We can't wait to return for our anniversary :)

WOW! We recently hosted our daughter’s wedding in the Burnham Ballroom at the JW Marriott on west Adams, and it was a huge success on every level. There may be many hotels in the downtown/River North area that can accommodate 250 for a wedding, but none matched the combination of value, historic beauty, and a dedicated & coordinated team that is so client-focused as the JW Marriott downtown. From our first jaw-dropping peek at the remodeled exquisite Burnham Ballroom (after viewing over 20 other nearby venues), the JW instantly “vaulted” into first place. But first we had to get through the contract negotiating process, and Anita made that stress-free. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, responsive, candid and friendly, and is empowered to make most contract tweaks without constantly having to get approvals from others. The JW also offers a choice of various incentives to make the package even more attractive. And when you consider that nearly everything is included and onsite, the JW is a surprisingly good value over some of the trendy raw spaces. Once the contract was signed, Anita handed off the ongoing coordination to Bridget Kalsch and her team. Bridget is experienced, calming, patient and low-key, keeps track of every detail, has great and practical suggestions, and is uber-responsive to e-mail. Chef Lori was also incredibly amenable to tweaking recipes (in view of our restrictions). We were expecting “wedding food,” but we and our guests were all blown away by the presentation, preparation and portions. From appetizers through to the "Afterglow" of late-night snacks, everything was unique, plentiful, memorable and delicious. Jackie and her team made everything go smoothly on the day-of. We had thrown another wedding in the Loop just 11 months before and the JW team exceeded every expectation. Even our planner said he’d never seen a wedding for 250 people go so smoothly, with no hiccups. We are admittedly a high-maintenance client, and appreciated all of the following. • We had many dietary restrictions/preferences, and specialty elements we wanted included, and they made everything happen. • We needed to accommodate a large number of out-of-towners, and Patricia made the process painless and seamless. • The fourth floor setup, with its multiple breakout rooms and large hospitality suite adjacent to the Ballroom, is extremely convenient and flexible for before, during and after the wedding. • The bridal suite was spacious, gorgeous and flowed through to the adjoining guest room, so the large bridal party had plenty of space to relax and get ready (including hair and makeup) the morning-of; the hospitality suite was a perfect place for the groomsmen to get ready and for an afterparty for the bride & groom’s friends. • The historic lobby and second floor of the hotel provide an elegant backdrop for portraits/photos. • The Encore team, headed by Bob Heise, which handles the AV and the sophisticated lighting options for the Ballroom ceiling, was creative and helpful. • Unlike some high-profile ballrooms in the Chicago area, the Burnham Ballroom, with its arched ceiling, is acoustically perfect. We’re done planning weddings, but we’d strongly and enthusiastically recommend the JW! They went above & beyond in every way.

We were honestly blown away by our wedding reception in the hearthside room in 2023. We were hoping for a low-key, pretty traditional "hall" style reception, where the emphasis would be on friends and family, family, food, and having a good time. The hearthside room was a great backdrop for that--cozy but spacious. The weather was great, and between the entryway/catering level, the main room, and the deck, our guests had a lot of options for hanging out and conversation. We had a few communication challenges due to staff turnover (their main coordinator and their chef both left in the middle of our planning), but chef Justin was great about honoring the original plan we had discussed. A couple of our guests had some pretty big food intolerances, and he made sure they still had plenty to eat. But most of all, I just cannot say enough good things about the food and the staff. Everyone was super helpful, and our guests could not stop talking about the food. There was PLENTY to go around, and Chef Justin and his staff made sure that everyone got their fill. It's a little early for a vow renewal, but we'll be recommending Cannonsburg to our friends and we'll be looking for a reason to host another big party here.

First off, the all-inclusive aspect of English Inn was perfect. We had our rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding, photos, cocktail hour, and reception there - plus our bridal party and immediate family stayed on site! It really took a lot of stress out of the weekend to not have to worry about how to get from A to B. And since the Inn's banquet hall caters the meal and has a bar, that was 2 fewer vendors we had to worry about! Not to mention chairs, tables, linens, etc all provided as well. For two people who aren't familiar with event planning, the English Inn made planning our wedding a breeze! Adriana is amazing as event coordinator, she was always able to answer every question quickly and professionally. The staff was all really friendly and the food was AMAZING! Absolutely no regrets or "what-if"s on our venue choice.

The Gardens are absolutely gorgeous in the summer, and my husband and I fell in love with the location immediately after we entered. Aside from the beautiful scenery, the Gardens provide delicious food from Culinary Landscapes, their in-house catering service, and all of our wedding guests were raving about the food and beverages. The catering staff were amazing and very attentive. The only smudge on our experience was that establishing and maintain communication was rocky – especially towards the beginning of our planning process – and there were a few surprise expenses tacked on. All things considered, however, we would go back to CBG in a heartbeat – we had a fairy tale wedding.

Avec West Loop's entire second floor is a dedicated private dining venue. This space draws from the warm, intimate design of avec’s main dining room with lots of wood, stoned wall paper and natural light. It’s the perfect location for a private, intimate gathering. The space features an open kitchen and private bar where cocktails and hors d'oeuvres may be served prior to groups being seated. We can accommodate 40 guests for a seated event and 60 guests for a reception style event.

I used AVEC for my daughter pre-wedding event for the family and close friends of the bride and husband. The staff at AVEC really made it a life time memorable experience to last for everyone. As for the reception, the appetizers/ hors-d’oeuvre was excellent. The open bar and the wine selection made a difference for those who attended. For the friends of my daughters, AVEC was one of the restaurant that they envied to dine at and the second floor atmosphere made it a unique experience. As for the sit down dinner for the family, it become a highlight for both family history. The wine selection for dinner was memorable and was an experience which cannot be replicated. The food was excellent and the how the family style serving provided an atmosphere for everyone closer and to become “one family”. In my mind , this was one of the top experience I have had including my time as working and living as a top executive in the Chicago area in the past 20 years. I have organized and attended dinner events for business but this experience at AVEC was the one I enjoyed the most and is ranked as my number one. I have to say that all dining experience, the staff at AVEC served us and others with a kind, friendly, and proactive way which led making the whole dining experience one that can not match by other restaurants in Chicago or anywhere around the world. As a Japanese we are used to high quality personalized services but AVEC in the West Loop is in our mind belongs in the top league worldwide. I recommend AVEC with the highest level and without any hesitation if you are seeking a life time experience to be remembered for generations.

I had my wedding ceremony outdoors at Royal Scot Golf Course in October of 2019 and the scenery was beautiful. I also had my wedding reception indoors in Royal Scot’s North Room which is located upstairs and holds approximately 125 people. The North Room was very spacious and even included a dance floor and an outdoor balcony. All rooms at Royal Scot have full banquet staff which includes servers, bartenders, and chefs. Linens, cloth napkins, flatware, china and glassware are also included. The catering for all functions is provided by Royal Scot and they do a wonderful job. My guests were raving about the food; it was truly delicious. Royal Scot staff was extremely attentive and communicated well throughout the planning process and during the event itself. Royal Scot staff met all my expectations and so much more. Royal Scot is a wonderful venue and the event pricing is very reasonable. I highly recommend this venue.

I picked this location because of how beautiful the landscape is. So many different spots on the property to get married on, all beautiful. Different locations cost different price. Overall, relatively cheap compared to other venues. When talking to them, I first started with one wedding coordinator. She left and was informed about the new coordinator. She introduced herself and thought she was awesome. She was very tentative to all the details and was very helpful. I wasn’t informed that she had left and a new coordinator had taken her spot. I didn’t know there was a new coordinator until the day before the wedding. She didn’t take charge of anything. She took a back seat to everything. Told her I had a specific song I wanted to play for walking down the aisle. There wasn’t any sort practice with the song at the rehearsal. She couldn’t figure out how to connect my phone to the sound system. She couldn’t figure out how to navigate the song that I had already pulled up on my phone.

I will always remember Park Hyatt so fondly because they truly gave us our Best Day Ever :) My initial experience was Park Hyatt was a little bit bittersweet due to being handed over through multiple coordinators without any good real communication on who to reach out to (a lot of very sudden turn over occurred throughout our long planning period). That was difficult to deal with because it was re-inventing the wheel multiple times and a lot of re-communicating things that had already been discussed. However, once Vanessa stepped into the picture in Sept 2022, I immediately felt SO much relief. She was so sweet, so organized, such a great communicator, and really did everything she could to make our day the best day ever - and she and her team absolutely delivered. I will sincerely miss getting to interact with her, because she was just that awesome!!! Park Hyatt as a whole did a great job, too. For the sake of transparency, I will say the billing department was a little difficult to get through to at one time made some kind of odd billing mistakes that seemed to stem from lack of communication. It was kind of hard to tell because I was getting the information second hand rather than talking to the billing person directly. That was really the only thing that I'd say was difficult to deal with. But I could always, ALWAYS rely on Vanessa to take care of the issue and in a punctual time period. And prices were great per person for an elevated Chicago wedding experience. Another nice thing is they bundled everything together (food/bev/service/taxes) into one per person price, so you know exactly what you're getting. I can't recommend Vanessa and her team highly enough. I'd relive it all over again if I could!

With everything going on with COVID-19, my fiance and I were super nervous about what would happen if we postponed our wedding or even if we had it with a smaller crowd. We had friends tell us that for their wedding at a different venue, they were still going to be charged the minimum amount even if there were only 50 people, I was so nervous about what was going to happen but then we got the call. Jennifer called us from Brides of Poplar Creek and assured us that they understood what was going on and that they would do whatever they could to accommodate us with what we decided to do. They allowed us to maintain our date for 2020 but then also offered to hold a date (at no cost) for 2021! My fiance and I hit the lotto with this place. Jennifer is up to date on the guidelines they are mandated to follow and continued to support us as we took our time deciding what we were going to do. We have finally decided to move our date and Jennifer drew up the new contract and got it to us in no time. Honestly, she made it so much easier for us to make this decision because it definitely was not easy. If you have not seen this venue in person, you need to go check it out. I am very picky and was looking for a place that did not have carpet. If you look at their old photos you see what the upstairs used to look like, it was beautiful but it had carpet. I was going to not even check out this venue but my mom saw that they updated their floors and now it is wood flooring. IT IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. Having both inside and outside ceremony options, you could not ask for a better place. I cannot wait to continue working with Jennifer and her crew as the countdown to our new wedding date continues. We rented The Kindel Room for our wedding ceremony and reception on 9/23/23 and working with Goei Center staff (specifically Katie and Kylie) was an absolute DREAM! Throughout the entire year and a half prior to the wedding, Katie and Kylie were incredibly quick to respond to every single one of my emails. Every response was thorough and they were SO kind, even when I had a million questions and my emails were like novels. They were very organized and professional, and made sure to think of/ask about everything I could possibly need to consider. When the big day finally rolled around, everything went PERFECTLY which I definitely attribute to the Goei Center staff being so well trained and prepared. Not to mention, when the ceremony and reception space was all set up with my personal touches plus the additional add-ons from Kindel Room (string lights, uplights, gorgeous wood guest chairs, farm head table, greenery on the chandeliers).....the whole space looked STUNNING!! The natural wood floors, exposed beams, chandeliers, and openness was exactly the vibe we were going for and we got TONS of compliments on how beautiful the space was. We plan on recommending Kindel Room/Goei Center to anyone and everyone, and if we are ever in need of an event space again in the future we will definitely be going back!

Where to start! If I could give more stars I would!! My spouse and I have been together for over 20 years and we wanted our fairy-tail wedding. Well we had it! We love the outdoors and feeling like we are up north! The moment we saw Twisted Roots, it screamed US!! The owners of the venue made it a spectacular day from start to finish. When I say start, I mean from the initial call. We were able to come out to do multiple site visits with our wedding party, family members, and our vendors. Erica and Jeffrey made us feel at home every time we stopped by! There offered suggestions and also were very open to ideas we threw their way. We were able to come in the day before the wedding to do an early set up and the day after our event to do our pick ups. This flexibility allowed us the wiggle room to just focus on the day itself. The venue setting is breathtaking!! We had our wedding under the pergola with a tent brought in for the reception. The venue offered a wonderful bridal suite, a grand room for also getting ready in, restrooms, outdoor electricity for our DJ, and lighting. Top that off with a bonfire!! If you are looking for a stunning unique venue, and you want to work with people who care about your special day, I recommend checking this location out!! Millennium Hall is a multi-concept food destination that joins a roster of incredible restaurants from around the city of Chicago, while offering a backdrop of the sights and sounds of iconic Millennium Park.

The event staff are great to work with. Sabrina, Olivia, and Kate were all very responsive and accommodating throughout the entire planning process. The food was delicious! We had 2 bartenders for our party of 100 people. No one ever had to wait for a drink. Security was made available to keep wedding crashers out. We had a cocktail style party for our reception under the white tent since we got married in June. Unfortunately it rained a little before the party but ended 30 min into it. The tent protected us pretty well, but the floor was wet near the edges of the tent the rest of the night. We did have the option until the morning of to switch our reception to inside of the Napolita restaurant. But, I spent a year planning this outdoor party and didn't want to change it, lol. It was nice to know that they were flexible and waiting to help out in any way they could. If you choose to have an outdoor wedding/reception under a tent and are worried about potential rain, ask for the tent side panels as a precaution. Those cannot be provided last minute, unfortunately. But, the tent space is amazing for a ceremony and/or reception! Millennium Park is a beautiful backdrop, so you can't go wrong with this venue.
