Perfect Whimsical Wedding Venue

This venue is stunning and perfect for if you're looking for a nature inspired, whimsical, greenery and flower blooms everywhere type of wedding! You do not need much (if any) decorations to make your wedding perfect. There is a beautiful outdoor area to get married, but a gorgeous indoor area as a back up which gave us such peace of mind to not stress over rain. Our guests had so much fun and it was nice to have an area away from the dance floor for our family and friends that did not want to dance to talk and catch up. Our manager, Isabeau, was the most helpful person on our wedding day and even caught that I had forgotten my veil right before walking down the aisle! Everyone's attention to detail and kindness is something I will always remember. This venue is perfect and a great price! Only notes that are important to know is the reception is very bad in the area (so have everything you need downloaded before you go) and at least for us, we could not get into the venue until noon on the day of the wedding.

My husband nor I are from Michigan (from the Chicagoland area) and everyone kept asking us "why Michigan?" The moment they walked in, they felt the same feeling I did when I first toured the venue. It is beautiful, unique, personal and was everything and more that I could have hoped for. Our wedding as at the end of June and we were very fortunate that the rain held off and the temperature/humidity ended up being perfect. We had about 185 guests attend the wedding and I think everyone was too stunned by the venue to even care about the drizzle of rain that was happening. Not to mention, Amelia and her staff are absolutely amazing from the very beginning to the very end.

MillCreek Wilde provided the perfect rustic yet elegant backdrop for our special day. Communication with the venue owner, Amelia, was quick, friendly, and attentive throughout the planning process. She responded to all our questions promptly and helped ensure everything came together smoothly. The venue itself is simply stunning with tall trees, string lights, and beautiful landscaping that made bringing in additional decor almost unnecessary. We felt the venue was very fairly priced given the beautiful setting and helpful staff. Amelia even took the time during the reception to capture photos for an Instagram reel to help us remember our special moments at MillCreek Wilde. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect, naturally beautiful venue with an accommodating team to match for our wedding day! It was a magical setting - exactly right for our personalities and hopes for our “enchanted woodland” wedding!

Getting married at MillCreek Wilde was a wedding dream come true! We wanted an outdoors wedding with lots of room and activities for guests and MillCreek was the perfect venue! The venue is artistically designed with a bonfire, cottages for the wedding party to get ready, an old barn for pictures, and trails for guests to take walks. The MillCreek team worked with us from the beginning to design the perfect day and completely took the lead on set up and clean up. All of our guests talked about how much they loved the wedding and we so agree! We would strongly recommend this venue and team to anyone looking for the best wedding day!
