About this venue
The Felt Estate is a historic wedding venue nestled in the dunes along Lake Michigan, between Holland and Saugatuck, Michigan. The expansive estate features the majestic 1920's Felt Mansion, the Rustic Carriage house, and the quaint Chapel at Shore Acres. All around this beautiful architecture are carefully manicured grounds, a grotto, and lush gardens. The Felt Mansion boasts modern amenities, seasonal tents, and optional overnight accommodations. Here, couples will be able to make use of a convenient and comfortable environment as they host their wedding festivities.

The Felt Mansion exudes a majestic ambiance with sandstone pillars and gorgeous greenery.
From the grand ballroom to the elegantly carved fireplaces, the Felt Mansion is the ideal backdrop for a sophisticated, classic and unforgettable wedding. Amenities include wedding party suites, catering kitchen, public and private parking, handicap accessible restroom, heating and air conditioning, public WiFi, audio/visual equipment, as well as chairs and tables.

A classic space with beautiful park views.
Our 40x100 tent on the West lawn is available in addition to the mansion to accommodate larger events. Amenities include interior market lighting, exterior cafe lighting, fans, and French window sides as well as tables and white resin chairs. Please note the tent must be rented in conjunction with the mansion

The Felt Estate is exclusively yours for your big day! After getting ready in our large wedding party suites and posing for wedding photos all around the beautiful estate, you will say, “I do” in one of our picturesque ceremony locations. Your guests will grab a cocktail as they explore the magnificent mansion before dining in the West Lawn Tent with beautiful park views. Available May-October. Includes: Mansion West Lawn Tent Carriage House Ceremony Equipment 12 hour rental period

Our premier package gives you the exclusive use of The Felt Estate for two days and two nights! You can host all of your wedding festivities right at the estate. A rustic rehearsal dinner in the Carriage House, grand wedding reception in the tent, and an intimate morning after brunch with family in the dining room - the possibilities are endless. With overnight accommodations included for up to 24 people, dance your wedding night away before retiring to your room.

An absolute dream!
If you're thinking about having your wedding at the Felt Estate, this is your sign to do it!! I fell in love with the venue the first time I saw it and the entire process after that was a dream. Derrick and Holden are absolutely wonderful to work with along with everyone else on the Felt team. We stayed the weekend at the house which was amazing since it was a destination wedding and everyone had so much fun in the mansion. The Felt Estate has everything you need for a picture perfect wedding and we are so happy with the choice we made!
Absolutely amazing
The venue is absolutely incredible. I was so impressed and all of the guests made a point to tell me how classy and beautiful the grounds were. The felt estate was so easy to work with and made this process simple for me!
Dream wedding venue
Working with Felt was a dream! It was so easy to plan a picturesque wedding there because the house and the grounds are gorgeous as-is. From unique details like walking paths to the lake and a piano for us to enjoy in the house, to the convenience and fun of having the ceremony, cocktail hour, photo shoots, and reception all at different beautiful spots right onsite, Felt was the perfect combination of relaxed and elegant and it made for an absolutely perfect and stress-free day.
Fantastic Venue
We were blown away with our wedding at the Felt this past weekend. They were easy to communicate with and were able to answer any questions we had along the way! We were able to tour the venue in person due to distance but they did everything they could to show us the venue virtually! Couldn’t recommend more for all your wedding needs!
