About this venue

Sunrise Farms Wedding Venue sits upon a nearly two-century-old family fruit farm in Southwest Michigan. The property is a historical goldmine with a three-story barn from the late 1800s, the oldest surviving log cabin in Michigan, and a 1928 original farmhouse. It is situated on the remaining 13 acres of farmland with neighboring farms as far as the eye can see. It is lush with greenery and historic character. The well-groomed property offers a charming vintage flair and many natural backdrops.

Originally built in the late 1800’s and the central hub of the prosperous fruit farm market, the barn stands three stories high and provides rustic charm to host your wedding reception. The interior of the barn is wood and beam style creating a wonderful canvas for your special touch of design. It offers a 2,000 square foot enclosed space with cement floors. As well as a chandelier and string lighting to create a nicely light space. Wedding ceremonies can take place in two outdoor locations that each offers a special historical landmark to say “I do.” The Jakway log cabin built around 1835 makes for a true one-of-a-kind ceremony setting backdrop. Or the deck of the brick farmhouse showcasing beautiful details of the unique craftsmanship of the House of David.

    Sunrise Farms provided us with everything we were looking for and more for our big day. Brandy and Tara were extremely helpful and fun to work with. The venue offers a gorgeous setting for an outdoor ceremony and a rustic barn for the reception. The property offers unlimited areas for memorable photos. They were very helpful in recommending vendors and making suggestions to help us feel at ease throughout the process. Our guests all have nothing but positive comments regarding Sunrise Farms as our choice for our wedding venue. We are extremely thankful and pleased with our experience on such an unforgettable day.
