We hired Sarah as a day-of coordinator for our recent wedding at Turf Valley Resort, and it was one of the best decisions that we made for many reasons. While we already consider ourselves “planners” (we worked on our wedding 10 months in advance with organized milestones, trackers, etc. in spreadsheets), we still benefited TREMENDOUSLY from all of the work that Sarah did leading up to the wedding and so much more on the actual wedding day. She helped us with creating an organized timeline, coordinating with all of our vendors, leading venue setup and takedown, and keeping us on schedule throughout the day. She also provided so much ad-hoc support when unexpected things happened (we lost a groomsman due to COVID and had to change the procession, we needed to fix some boutonnieres at the last minute, etc.). Sarah also helped us navigate tricky topics like what to tell our vendors and when (headcount, booster seats, tip envelopes, etc); she helped us manage carpools and transportation of personal items (centerpieces, flowers, etc.); and so much more. There was such a reduction in stress from having Sarah present to handle all of the various things that can and WILL happen on your wedding day. Sarah clearly has a lot of experience in this field and is ready for any outcome. “When we started planning we wanted our day to be as stress-free as possible and fun so Attaboy was an easy choice. There was so much I loved about the venue, but here are some top considerations: Location/logistics- It was so easy to get everything and everyone to the venue and our guests loved how easy walking or parking was. Other vendors also expressed appreciation that they were able to get in earlier in the day and that it was easy to get to. Since it is off the creek, the outside area felt more intimate. There are also lots of cute areas to take pictures in the venue and just steps away. Aesthetics- the venue was beautiful! The simplicity of the set up really made our florals pop. They provided tables and seating which were perfect with our design. The whole space lends itself to so many different design possibilities. Also, since it is very cute/clean as it, we didn't need to go overboard with decor. Service- Anna was a huge help throughout the entire process. “Caroline and her team provided the flowers and greenery for our December 2024 wedding. They were AMAZING. From the start, I knew I wanted local, seasonal flowers and greenery that fit the style of a winter wedding. Through phone calls with Caroline we came up with a mood board that matched the style and colors of our wedding. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and perfectly fit the vision that I had in mind. “The moment we first toured The Hummingbird Chateau we fell in love and knew this was where we were meant to get married. Working with Angela and the owners were amazing. Went above and beyond and made our vision come to life with the expansive decor they offer and her creative eye! I can’t recommend them enough! Beautifully unique venue, stunning decor to choose from their vast inventory, the eclectic colorful farmhouse has an amazing photo opportunity in every nook and cranny! The bridal suite is gorgeous and relaxing and the grooms area was spectacular. I could go on and on raving about everything this venue offers. We were married in one of the outdoor locations by the greenhouse and it was perfect (the rain plan ceremony spot was a stunning back up option-so many great areas to choose from). The Hummingbird Chateau is a must see! - You’ll fall in love just like we did :)”
