On the wedding day, Justin was even more incredible than I could have imagined. He made us both feel at ease the entire wedding, making us laugh and seamlessly capturing amazing pictures along the way. All night and since the wedding, we've had family and friends tell us how incredible Justin was- his easygoing, friendly demeanor made an already really special day even better and we are so grateful to have him as our photographer. “We liked Edward Zaruba a lot initially because when we talked, he was concise and seemed fun as opposed to some of the other DJs we spoke to. Picking a DJ was hard because unlike a photographer where you can look through their work, you generally go off of price and vibes because you can’t sit through an entire set as your wedding set list is based off yourself. Edward didn’t talk too much and to be transparent, we didn’t want a DJ that would talk more than they played music, so that paired with his price point made him a good fit for us. We had a good experience with him on our wedding day. His system for the outside was simple but worked the way we needed it to. He hid everything behind some of the greenery so that none of the guests could see it and it would not be in view for the pictures. Even though the weather was windy that day, the microphones picked up well on the all of the sound. He set the groom and officiant up with wireless microphones that were nicely hidden. His speaker was loud and clear for everyone to hear. His system for the inside was also great for the space and the included dance lighting added a nice vibe for the night and turned out nice in our photos. Our only (half) complaint was we gave him a must, MUST playlist (about 6 songs), and only a few of them played. We think this can be attributed more so to lack of time to play all the songs we love and of course know even if we could have spent an additional hour dancing, there probably would have been songs we missed. Outside of that, he picked phenomenal music, and he knew how to transition from one song to the next to keep everyone on the dance floor and having fun. We appreciated his ability to introduce our party and us. He spoke the perfect amount and did great with the nights transitions.”

My husband is not super comfortable in front of the camera, but Sarah and Jack (her partner/second shooter) helped put him at ease for our photos! I love her photography style and editing, and I feel like her team truly captured the beauty and love we felt on our wedding day. Sarah was very easy to communicate and work with and I feel like she listened to my vision and knew the key shots I wanted for the day. She also was incredible with time management, ensuring we got all of the shots we needed so we didn't have to miss much of our cocktail hour or any of our reception! Her turnaround time was also super quick, as we had all of our photos back in about 6 weeks (we also got married in September, a high volume time for her!). Can't recommend Sarah enough, we will continue to use her in the future for milestone photos!”

After just a few minutes of viewing the photos and videos of gigs he had posted on his Facebook page we knew he was our guy. He reaffirmed this decision during our intro call when the first thing he said to us was, "Just know on your wedding day, I've got you." We instantly knew we were in great hands. Korey exceeded all expectations, from his in-depth phone calls leading up to the wedding to his oozing charisma and passion during the reception. He did a fantastic job of engaging with our guests, friends, and family while also allowing everyone to have their moment to shine. His remixes and overlays of songs drove our crowd nuts, and he perfectly captured our 80s, 90s, and early 2000s interests all night long. I can still hear my dad, who has now passed, say "if you don't sit still we will be here all day". As an adult, I now get it. Not being able to talk with my dad everyday or ask for advice, I'm so thankful to have albums full of family photos to hold in my hands. Fast forward to today as a DC wedding photographer, I want this for you. Nothing gives me more pleasure than capturing wedding photos that you and your family will cherish for a lifetime.

“From start to finish, our experience with Lee was nothing short of amazing!!! When we first met Lee in 2019, he welcomed us into his studio with open arms and really took the time to get to know us as a couple. It quickly became apparent that Lee valued his relationship with us and that, for him, to truly capture the essence of our special day he wanted to understand our unique relationship. We shared a glass of delicious wine and talked for over an hour, reviewed some of his work, shared our vision of our wedding, and shared important details of our story together. My wife and I felt so comfortable with him, like we were already friends, and not just another client. I still remember the way I felt walking out of his studio that day. We knew right then and there that he was special and the right choice for us. Fast forward to 2020 and the world had suddenly and drastically changed. My wife and I were forced to postpone our wedding until the following year (November 2021). He checked in on us, he invited us to hang out, he showed that he really cared. Lee went above and beyond for us for our engagement photos and traveled quite a long distance to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. When we had a small "backyard BBQ" wedding in October 2020 for our official marriage (we didn't want to wait another year), out of the goodness of his heart, Lee volunteered to come shoot our day and help capture those precious moments with close family and bridal party. And, at long last, on our big wedding day in November 2021, Lee delivered amazing photographs and an unforgettable experience beyond our highest expectations! He brings extensive experience to the table and we were so impressed with how deftly he moved and how efficiently he operated throughout our wedding day. Lee is kind, funny, reliable, gentle, generous, polite, professional, fair, and he takes amazing photographs!
