“Grace was a pleasure to work with during the wedding planning process. She was timely in her responses and upfront with pricing. On the day of the wedding, it felt like we were herding cats, but she remained professional and efficient. Even though we were running behind schedule with getting dressed, she managed to squeeze in a few dress shots and some first look photos. Grace remained patient even as some of our friends and family showed up late for photos! As we moved between locations, she made sure I was holding my dress in a way so that I wouldn’t fall on my face. She also helped my MOH bustle my dress after the ceremony (again, so I wouldn’t fall on my face). Grace was always cognizant of the lighting on location, and how it would affect photos. Her assistant, Joey, was lovely and accommodating as well. All in all, a wonderful experience!”

Everything was executed so perfectly--from the little details like welcome signs to the big things like transportation from our ceremony to the venue--that my husband and I got to be in the moment for every minute of our wedding. “Kelsea and Alena made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. Kelsea chatted with me via Zoom to get an idea of what the day was going to be like and the look I was going for. I did a trial at Kelsea's studio in Virginia and I got to hang out with her adorable pup while she brought my vision to life and asked me lots of helpful questions. She then took feedback from the trial so that Alena, who was my artist on my wedding day, could execute a perfected version of the trial look. My hair isn't the easiest to work with because it's very straight and fine, but Alena got it to hold its waves all night without it feeling gross and weighed down by product. She also accentuated the purple highlights I got done shortly before the wedding to match my flowers flawlessly so that the purple showed through without being overpowering. She checked in every step of the way while doing my makeup and made sure I was good with the shades that she picked. I don't usually wear a lot of makeup so I was worried about not feeling like myself, but Kelsea and Alena achieved the perfect balance between looking glamorous, but still natural. I didn't have a bridal party, but Alena did my mom's hair and makeup as well and she looked beautiful. Cannot recommend Artistry by Kelsea enough!”

“Darcy was an absolute pleasure to work with and we LOVE our photos. She truly captured the emotions of the day and the essence of all the people we love the most. Any time i look at our photos, i find myself involuntarily smiling. She captured the classic posed photos AND the precious in-between moments where people are being their most authentic selves (the face my dad makes when he's really intently listening, the hand gestures my mom uses when she's explaining something and can't find the right words, the face my mother in law makes when she's cracking herself up, the face my father in law makes right before the tears fall, and so so many more). Not ONLY are her photos amazing, but she made us feel so relaxed on the day-of. Her style is totally unobtrusive, which is just what we needed.
