“Allen was awesome. When Grace and I first had our online call with him, he was very thorough and organized. “We had our wedding in the ballroom. Very scenic and beautiful venue! Overall a pretty good venue that includes food, tables, chairs, linens, etc. The ballroom house itself is beautiful with lots of light indoors due to the large windows, and a nice deck for an outside ceremony. Zoe communicated with us and answered all our questions and did our tasting and planning, until a week before the actual day where we were assigned a day of coordinator. I found this system to be not great, since the day of coordinator was essentially a stranger that you've never talked to at all, and you basically have to re explain everything you want. Even though they have an online planning tool (which is old and outdated), I found that they got our aisle directions wrong, the reception layout wrong, and our dinner meals were wrong. Thankfully, we had a separate planner that was able to correct these things, so I recommend getting an outside coordinator that works directly with you if you have room in the budget. Another thing was our limited setup time of 1.5 hours meaning the florist and other vendors couldn't set up earlier with more elaborate decorations and had to do something simple. I found out that this is because they had another wedding at the same place before ours (literally ending at 4) and so they rush to get the place cleaned for the evening wedding. The main room and the suit was renovated, but the bathrooms were all still dingy and not the best/cleanest to use. The food was good though, better than we had at our tasting and they got it out fast. Our vendors were fed the same food, and our guests thought it was pretty good wedding food. Apart from the couple hiccups we had, we thought the venue was great overall and really beautiful and we don't regret having our wedding there at all. It could be a little bit better in the small details for the price though.”

“We first met Wendy a few weeks before our wedding to do a walkthrough of the venue, and instantly fell in love with her. We knew right away that she would be a dream to work with on our wedding day, and we were right! Wendy and Liz made us feel so comfortable on our wedding day and kept us laughing and giggling right from the very beginning. The photos were so amazing! They were clear and beautiful and there was a wonderful balance of both candid and posed photos that captured the details of the day. We got pregnant soon after getting married and when our son was born, there was not a second of hesitation in choosing Wendy for our newborn photos. Once again, Wendy and Liz showed up with the same positive and high energy attitudes that we experienced on our wedding day, and the photos captured our son Charlie perfectly. We have since done a mini-shoot for holiday cards and another newborn photo shoot. Every time, Alex and I have to debate over which picture is the BEST to use because there are so many great ones. Beware - if you do a mini-shoot you will want to buy all of the photos :) Wendy and Liz are fun, passionate, caring and patient. They will do anything to get the perfect shot and put you completely at ease. They have been such an integral part of capturing important moments in our family from day one. “Long review coming, but I can't help myself. Erin was the best decision of my wedding! I cared about three things for my wedding, and photography was one of them. Finding a photographer was a daunting task since at the end of the day I knew I would leave with two things: my husband and my pictures. From the very beginning, Erin was a delight to work with. Photography, one of my top priorities, became my lowest stressor leading up to my wedding and the day of. Erin is a phenomenal communicator. She is clear, timely, and respectful. She asked about our photography desires, encouraged questions, and confirmed information to ensure that we achieved what we wanted. Erin always responded quickly which was so helpful when trying to coordinate everything needed for a wedding. The day of the wedding she and her second photographer, Monica (an absolute gem!!), were excellent communicators with all of the adults and children present when relaying what they wanted and needed us to do for photos. They helped with poses and gave amazing feedback (both positive and adjustments needed) throughout the day to help us feel comfortable and get good shots (neither my husband nor myself are natural at posing, but our photos turned out amazing)! Erin is calm, organized, and KIND (exactly what a couple needs during the planning process and on the wedding day)! Everything was clearly outlined prior to signing a contract. Once signing, you have a login to see all of your information in one place (contract, payments, questionnaire, etc.) which makes it so easy to keep track of everything related to our photography. As a Type A person, I so appreciated how clear and organized all of the information was. She has a second photographer included on the wedding day who helps keep track of the previously-determined photos (confirmed during a phone call) and ensures that everyone is in place so photos don't take a million hours. We were able to complete all pre- and post-ceremony pictures (we had a lot) in about an hour total for both. She was so sweet and made both of us feel unbelievably comfortable. She's someone you'll genuinely want to stay friends with after the wedding! Both Erin and Monica were so thorough and detailed. Not only did they review everything I didn't know I needed to think about prior to the wedding, but the day of the wedding they handled everything with such attention to detail that it completely removed all pressure from us and our families. Erin and Monica knew the photos we wanted and made sure to get all of them throughout the day. They constantly helped adjust my gown, veil, hair, and poses to ensure that not only the framing and lighting was perfect (which it was), but that there were no little details out of place that would drive OCD me crazy haha. They also brought tremendous equipment that allowed them to shoot multiple ways in multiple lighting scenarios. We were married in an old church, had a reception in a wood-paneled moody, dark room, and finished with photos at the Jefferson Memorial. Every single venue had perfectly lit photos. They both jumped around, walked up and down, switched out cameras, and straight up WORKED (at impeccable speed) to get us so many amazing angles and photos. On top of everything. Erin helped us create beautiful photo albums for us and our parents. To say Erin is worth the investment is the understatement of the century. We are forever grateful to her for capturing our important day!”

“I’ll preface by saying this is my second marriage and can compare my experience with to my first wedding. Catering By Uptown was fantastic from the beginning. They have excellent responsiveness, attention to detail and the food is amazing. Everything we wanted on our wedding day was accomplished. The only slight frustration I experienced was not having contact with our specific day of coordinator until the week of the wedding. But that didn’t even end up being an issue because, as I mentioned, everything was perfect. They’re so flexible and easy to work with. Though I wasn’t communicating with the same person every time I had questions, their internal communication was so strong and efficient that it seemed like I was talking the the same person. I can’t recommend them enough.”

After canceling our wedding 2 times due to Covid, Matt & I discussed the possibility of eloping to Jackson Hole, WY. I knew that Bob & Jamie have visited there enough to claim it as their 2nd home (lol) so I reached out for some advice/recommendations regarding the area & eloping. They not only offered a ton of knowledge about Jackson, they said they were available to travel and shoot our wedding. We booked them right away!!! They helped Matt & I EVERY step of the way. I said I wanted to be married inside in front of a large stone fireplace and have pictures taken outside with the snow covered mountains afterwards. They immediately went to work searching for hotels with stone fireplaces & locations (yes, multiple) for scenic wedding photos. Once those decisions were made, they helped select a restaurant for wedding dinner and plan our excursions. Bob even offered to be the tour guide for our snowmobile trip to Granite Hot Springs. These two went way above and beyond wedding photographers! Our wedding day was truly a dream come true (Hallmark movie worthy) and I can’t thank Jamie enough for capturing every part of it. She left no stone unturned. When we received the preview pics, I felt like a kid on Christmas morning. The photos were even better than I had hoped. She made us look like we were on a magazine cover!
