Couples can host a gorgeous outside ceremony on the concrete patio, or opt for a covered pavilion ceremony. The pavilion is open on three sides to bring the beautiful scenery indoors, but the sides and barn-style doors can be closed in the event of inclement weather. Inside the pavilion, lighting is provided by lanterns and chandeliers, and a large hand-crafted fireplace takes spotlight, with rocks from the farm incorporated into its design. The lakefront Courtyard Gaithersburg Washingtonian Center is located in the heart of rio: a 760,000 sq. ft. waterfront center with restaurants, shops, plus a movie theater, paddle boats, and a trail. The hotel is conveniently located right off of the ICC MD 200 and I-270, which connects to other suburban cities like Bethesda and Rockville. This hotel is about a ten-minute drive to the Shady Grove Metro Station, a 30-minute drive to downtown Washington, D.C., and a forty-minute drive to the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA). Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990, our meeting house was constructed in 1930 during the administration of the Quaker president, Herbert Hoover. In 1970, we acquired the red brick Quaker House, Carriage House and garden at 2121 Decatur Place NW. Monroe Bay Vineyard is located on the water near Colonial Beach on the original birthplace Farm of our 5th President James Monroe. We have secluded and tranquil waterfront land to plan your perfect day. We have a large, unique barn made of natural, recycled materials of strawbales for insulation and recycled wine bottles for light and design. You no longer see the strawbales in the wall as they have been covered with a hydraulic lime the same material castles in France for hundreds of years have been made from.
