About this venue

Sited on a slight rise above the surrounding countryside, Little Oatlands estate offers views across cultivated fields to the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, providing a scenic backdrop for celebrations. The domestic complex consists of an historic 18th century stone main house and cottage, a gracious lawn perfect for a large tent, and an award-winning formal garden inspired by French and Italian Renaissance garden design that makes for a unique and elegant event site. In addition to your choice of beautiful outdoor sites for both the ceremony and reception, the property offers overnight accommodations for up to 20 family members and friends in the well-appointed main house and cottage. The property offers walking/hiking trails, swimming pool, tennis court and other recreational amenities to entertain guests in the day(s) before and after the wedding.

Entire property (both houses and grounds) for one, two, or three overnight stays for up to 20 persons, plus wedding in the formal garden or elsewhere on the grounds, reception, rehearsal dinner, and/or after-wedding Sunday brunch as desired. Little Oatlands does not provide any equipment., but we have a list of experienced vendors who know the property.
