We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue for our wedding! The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views and beautifully maintained grounds that made for the most amazing backdrop to our special day. Special thanks to the venue coordinator, Katie, who made the planning process so easy and stress-free. She was attentive, responsive, and truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. She was always available to answer any questions I had before the wedding. We met a month prior to the day to discuss the timeline of the day which helped make the day stress-free! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a dream wedding location. It was truly a day to remember! We chose Food for Thought, the in-house caterer for Earlyhouse and the food was nothing short of spectacular. The menu options were diverse and perfectly customizable to suit our tastes and dietary needs, making it easy to create a meal that all of our guests loved. All of the vendors and staff at Earlyhouse made our wedding day memorable and we highly recommend Earlyhouse for your wedding or next event!
Response from vendor•Sep 24, 2024Thank you so much for your kind words! We are thrilled to hear that Earlyhouse provided the perfect backdrop for your special day. We're especially glad that Katie helped make the planning process smooth and stress-free—her attention to detail and dedication to our couples is something we're very proud of. It’s wonderful to know that Food for Thought, our in-house caterer, exceeded your expectations and that the customizable menu met all your needs. We're honored to have been a part of your memorable day, and we truly appreciate you recommending us to others. Congratulations again, and we wish you all the best!Perfect & Beautiful backdrop
My son recently got married at Earlyhouse, and the entire experience was nothing short of perfect. The venue was gorgeous. Everywhere you looked, there was a stunning backdrop for wedding photos. We were especially grateful to have the day-of coordinated by Katie, who worked behind the scenes to coordinate with all of us (coming from Florida, Texas, Maryland, Tennessee, & New York) and our vendors, she even managed my sons wedding timeline. It was evident that she genuinely cared about making the day special for our family. Her dedication and professionalism shined upon us the whole time. Because of Katie's expertise and dedication, we were able to relax and truly enjoy the day without any stress or concerns. Knowing that everything was in capable hands allowed us to be fully present in the moment, celebrating our son and new daughter-in-laws special day. I cannot recommend Earlyhouse enough-both for its breathtaking beauty and the exceptional staff who made our sons wedding a day we will cherish forever.
Response from vendor•Sep 24, 2024Thank you so much for your heartfelt review. We are thrilled to hear that your son's wedding at Earlyhouse was everything you had hoped for. We’re honored to have been a part of such a memorable celebration and appreciate your recommendation. Wishing your son and daughter-in-law a lifetime of happiness!Drop of the ball and unprofessional
My husband and I don't usually like to write reviews but we felt needed to after our wedding day and talking with our chosen vendors. First off the venue is absolutely gorgeous and the food was excellent from the owner. Feedback from our vendors and where issues began our chosen vendors were not allowed to arrive early before we arrived to be setup for us. Which caused delays in us getting ready. Our coordinator made out that it was my matron honor rushing my photographer and videographer that was not the case and that wasn't right to do. Because of them not letting the vendors in early for setup my makeup artist chose to not come to the venue to do my makeup, I met her at another location. When we left to go get dressed up at the main house we had to use our own transportation because their golf cart was not working there was not much direction where we were supposed to be getting ready. The guys found it difficult to turn the lights on downstairs and hot while trying to get ready. The lady's upstairs found it difficult with lights etc. We only found our way because my hairdresser was already there. When we were getting ready I asked for my mother and my mother in law for photos and help getting me ready before our ceremony it seemed like the coordinator had problem with it. After cermony, during photos we felt rushed again and we hadn't even taken many photos and we could of taken more. Because again coordinator made us rush because dinner need to served. Because of the rushing we gave up on photos and went up on terrace to begin our reception. By giving up on photos we missed important photo I wanted of me in my dress with my picture of grandma that is no longer with me. Felt like we couldn't enjoy our reception fully because we on guard of what needed to do next...we cut our parents dances short. My husband felt like our coordinator wanted us to scrap reception activities because we were hour behind, but I said no. Coordinator seemed to flip flop one second from another we felt she was rude with us and our vendors. My parents felt they dropped the ball with alot things seemed to forget it was someone's wedding day and that weddings don't run on time as much as we tried biggest delay was that our vendors weren't ready because they were still setting up. My matron of honor husband said our guests were confused with the ceremony and where to be etc because of no direction. Just overall our day was wonderful and beautiful but was overshadowed by rushing and rudeness. The rushing of the day caused photo memories of the day to be lesser than we expected that we're going to have to fix after the fact which is sad because our venue was so beautiful. We don't recommend the venue because of how our day went time wise with rushing and rudeness of coordinator felt like we couldn't enjoy or catch our breath. They need to work timeline with vendors, transportation and overall having the best interest of the couple in mind. We now know reason we were rushed the whole evening was because our coordinator wanted to go to her kids because of having a babysitter. Just left bad tasted in our mouths as a whole as a couple and our families for what we paid.
Response from vendor•Aug 27, 2024We received your feedback on your June 2, 2024 wedding and were surprised by your dissatisfaction, especially given your earlier positive remarks. To clarify, the Elite Wedding package you and Nathan selected included four total hours of rental time, including setup, as clearly outlined in your contract. We accommodated your request for early access, dedicated additional hours for site visits and conference calls, and collaborated closely with you to create a detailed timeline. Unfortunately, delays caused by your photographer retaining your dress for 45 minutes past the scheduled ceremony time significantly impacted your overall schedule. Had your photographer been more attentive to the timeline, we believe all your wedding goals could have been met, and this negative review would not exist. While we strive to maintain professionalism, we must address that several aspects of your review are inaccurate and unfair. For example, the golf cart mentioned was never part of your rental agreement and has always been in working condition. We regret how things ended but wish you and Nathan a wonderful future together.Excellent place to cater
Have worked with Earlyhouse for years and they always bend over backwards to keep everything running smoothly before and during the event.
