Trump Winery is the venue where your wedding dreams come true. Whether you’ve envisioned an extravagant event or an elopement for just the two of you, we promise to create memories that you and your loved ones will cherish forever. Our 1300 acre property is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, conveniently located 20 minutes from downtown Charlottesville. Our grounds have picture-perfect rolling hills, lakes, and over 200 acres of vines. Trump Winery couples benefit from indoor and outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour and reception settings, in well-appointed, heated and air-conditioned, luxury venues. Less than a mile away from both the Barn & Pavilion and the Grand Hall is our Albemarle Estate at Trump Winery, a 26,000-square foot, 11 bedroom mansion that provides overnight lodging for guests and a honeymoon night option for couples.

Barn & Pavilion

The epitome of rustic elegance for your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception

Our Barn & Pavilion venue is made up of two buildings as well as the surrounding grounds. Our Barn houses our Dressing Suite, Club Room, and 40ft by 46ft patio area. Our Pavilion is an octagonal open space with a luxurious, spacious, wooden bar and a 48ft by 60ft patio area. Many couples choose to get married overlooking the Olympic Lake or by our 100-year old Willow.

    My husband and I chose Trump Winery for our wedding venue because we wanted a chapel for the ceremony and a barn for the reception. Luckily, Trump Winery had both, so best of both worlds! We are very happy with our decision because some guests danced on the dance floor while others went outside on the patio to talk and enjoy the winery views. It can be difficult to talk while there's music blasting. Beth Zitzman, the Events Manager at Trump Winery, was very helpful and friendly from the venue tour to throughout the wedding planning process to the day of the wedding. Trump Winery does have strict vendor rules. One being the caterer has to be a vendor from their Preferred Vendor List, which is listed on the contract. The other vendors don't have to be from the Preferred Vendor List, but they have to be approved by Beth after the vendor fills out two vendor forms and adds Trump Winery as an additional insured company on their certificate of insurance. This process wasn't too bad as all the vendors I chose that weren't on Trump's Preferred Vendor List got approved. For a sparklers exit, Trump Winery requires galvanized buckets and sand for the used sparklers. Trump Winery also requires a day of coordinator. Cody Smith was my day of coordinator and she's the best! She's very familiar with Trump Winery and has been in the wedding industry for years. Cody is so on top of things and responds really quickly to emails and texts. She made my wedding absolutely seamless! All my guests told me they really enjoyed the wedding and the venue was wonderful. I was awestruck when I saw all my photos, beautiful and classic venue!

    The most beautiful scenery, the nicest people, a beautiful chapel on the property and an amazing estate to stay at - the perfect venue. We did our chapel ceremony at the sweetest chapel on the grounds and then had the most amazing reception at The Grand Hall that sits at top of the winery. The views are unbelievable and the service was amazing. At each point in our journey I always got quick answers and the staff at The Trump Winery always did everything they could to help me. My daughter and I can't find a single flaw or problem that we had. Truly you could not find a better venue no matter the size of your wedding.

    My October 2019 wedding at Trump Winery, more than, exceeded my expectations. It was everything I have ever wanted my wedding to be!! The venue itself is astonishing. We were married at The Chapel there and got ready at he Bridal Suite at the Barn (which was breathtaking in itself). The autumn views at the winery in Virginia was just the cherry on top. The event manager Coleen Larson was such a joy to work with & made the experience seamless. She helped me every step of the way, even with a short time frame we had to work with. We planned it all in less than 3 months. We have received so many compliments of our intimate wedding (25-30 guests) & the pictures and videos from it are just amazing. Virginia Schweninger, the harpist was also phenomenal. Together, we we picked each song to make my wedding special & it truly turned out wonderfully. I would do this over and over again, if I could. My husband was also very impressed. We could not have asked for more! Beautiful!!! just beautiful.

    This was my first time visiting the estate and meeting the Event Coordinator Colleen Larson. I have to say that from the minute I passed through the gates I felt welcome approaching the beautiful grounds. I photographed a georgous wedding at the Chapel, which was just lovely. Colleen guided me in my days prior, as well as guiding my session as the Wedding Photographer. She was a true help to the couple in their wedding details. Her guidance was gentle and friendly and willing to help in a minutes notice. I recommend this beautiful estate to all who are thinking about upcoming events. Truly a gem of a place.
