We worked with the City & Terrace team to set-up a consultation 4-months before our wedding date. We were overwhelmed with all of the logistics. We wanted to customize print items and personal accessories to make them memorable, and we didn’t know where to start. There were also so many additional tasks to juggle, and it was worthwhile to get professional assistance from City & Terrace. They made the planning process much easier, helped up prioritize, and were very attentive to our needs and vision. Lauren guided us through a detailed process and helped us understand how specific deadlines are needed for each of those items along the way. After making a game plan, we felt much more at ease about what was needed leading into our big day. She was also conscientious of our budget and found the best ways to incorporate everything we hoped for. We would recommend City & Terrace to anyone, even if it is only for a consultation!! My wedding was this past weekend, and I still want to shout Amanda's praises from every rooftop! Hire her now! We had a complex wedding design: a full three-night, four-day weekend with several different spaces and layouts involved, and different guest lists for each day. Amanda handled everything masterfully. Every detail was exactly as we imagined (and more!), and she was a true joy to work with. My mother and I have different working styles and visions, and somehow Amanda found a way to meet both of our needs at each turn and help us avoid any conflict with one another. Amanda is highly detail-oriented and has a way of handling so many things "behind the scenes" and well in advance of the wedding - including crafting much of the decor and guest gifts weeks in advance, then personally transporting them to the wedding. It was efforts like this that really set her apart from other planners -- measurably reducing our stress each moment and taking things off our very full plates. We will genuinely miss speaking and working with Amanda. Our only regret was not hiring her sooner - she joined us after we had personally booked our venue and a handful of vendors, but having her with us earlier would have only enhanced our planning process.

When I was looking for a Wedding Coordinator, I knew I needed someone who was going to be able to keep up with my busy brain and Trisha could not have been more perfect. From our first conversation, all the way to our wedding day, Trisha was in constant contact with me, gave me so much relief by wrangling all of my vendors, executed my design vision on the day of perfectly and most importantly, she put up with me and all of my 1,000 ideas that I wanted to happen on the day of. Her level of professionalism is unmatched and her ability to deal with mishaps on the day of is amazing. I didn't only hire an amazing Coordinator but I gained a friend in her. Joy was incredible to work with as our Month Of Coordinator, can’t recommend her and the Taylored Events team enough! We’d already selected our venue, vendors, and design, but wanted support with ironing out final details, timelines, and day-of logistics. We initially weren’t sure if we needed a coordinator to begin with, but are so glad we went with them, especially because it made the day completely stress free, not only for us as the couple, but just as importantly, for our family and wedding party. Joy gave us a spreadsheet to help us check off everything we needed for planning, created our timeline down to the minute for the day of, coordinated all communication with vendors leading up to and throughout the wedding, oversaw our rehearsal walk-through the day before (on site), and set up our decor for us. Special touches included being so kind to our flower girls and keeping them entertained (thank you to Joy’s assistant, Lindsey) during speeches, taking phenomenal candids and Polaroids throughout (we had a camera out for guests to use during reception, pic attached), and helping with my quick dress change. Joy & team are super organized, friendly, diligent, professional, and flexible — and they really care about everyone having a great time. My wife and I cannot say enough good things about Raquel. WOW! I can not say enough on how appreciative I am of Bari and Antonia. A month before my wedding I realized I desperately needed Day of Coordinators. Bari and Antonia were so responsive and assuring. They took on my wedding with such grace. No request of mine was too much. They travelled all the way to Jersey City from Philly and were so accomodating. They spent time with all our vendors on the day of the wedding, helping set up with the florist and some of my DIY decor. They made sure my ceremony procession ran smoothly. They made sure all the little details were taken care of. The night of my wedding, the only thought I had was to have a good time, and thats because Bari and Antonia did the rest. I couldn't recommend them more if you need help on your wedding day.

Alex helped make the lead up to our wedding just about as frictionless as a couple could have wished for! She was punctual with communication with us as well as our vendors. She walked us through the timeline and listened to our own thoughts and made sure our vision came a reality. She made sure to keep us in the loop on issues that needed our attention, but was able to handle plenty on her own during the wedding day itself. On my arrival, parking was easy and there were clear directions made for all attendees. When I arrived I was greeted by Justine, and assisted with my bags by others staffed by Justine to offer helping hands to my work area that was separate, clean, and spacious. My work area had amazing lighting already set up, a chair and table set up, and a personalized gift bag and refreshments waiting for me. I thought that it was above and beyond with service for her vendors. It felt good to work in an environment where I walked in with great impressions, service, and appreciation for my services rendered. I was grateful to have a setup that allowed me to work with ease and comfort. Each person who required makeup had a time slot and was on time and prepped very well. Justine did a wonderful job at making sure everyone was aware of what was going on and where we would be, if working. I appreciated her attentiveness to detail and how through her planning was executed. I also received an itinerary of the event and it was filled with beautiful moments and fun. As an attendee the setup of the event space was gorgeous. There was plenty of refreshments in a spacious and well decorated area. The food was also amazing. I loved the cultural diversity that she offered at her event to make everyone feel welcomed and comfortable. While I didn’t come knowing many people, because of the events and ice breaker games that we played, I left making many new acquaintances. Brooke once told me during one of our many consultations, that the name of her business was “practically perfect” because nothing is ever 100% perfect, but her goal is to get it as close as possible. I didn’t realize how right she would be. First off the vendors she chose- the catering, the dj, the hair and makeup artist, the bartender, the florist… every single one of these vendors came through in a big way for me! They all knocked it out of the park, and that’s mostly because of Brooke! She knew what she was doing when she chose them, and she handled pretty much all of the communication. I just had to give approval and tell them exactly what I wanted, and Brooke made sure that happened. You just have to trust that you chose her for a reason and that she is going to make the right decisions. Every single thing about my day exceeded my expectations. Now let’s talk about her professionalism. I had someone at my wedding be… not so nice to her. Not Brooke’s fault. She handled it with grace and professionalism both during and after the situation, and made sure it caused as little of a hiccup as possible during my day. I can’t tell you how much it meant to me that Brooke was there for me every single step of the way taking care of things. I’m sure there’s things she tackled that I don’t even know about, and for that I am grateful also. Brooke, thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you did for me. You never once seemed stressed or overwhelmed which put me at ease during this process. I am so grateful for you, my wedding wouldn’t have been the same without you!

I had been dreaming of my wedding day for what seems like my entire life and I can honestly say: our day was a dream come true. When I think about that day, I can only think of how magical it was. As someone who manages logistics professionally, I had extremely high expectations about everything: from the exact location of the signage around the space to the angle of furniture placement in the lounge area and everything in between. We hired Kerry for full planning services and she came through. She spent the time on our calls really getting to know us and that was the biggest difference: since she knew us better, she knew which vendors to source to us. We rarely had to meet more than 3 types of vendors for any given area because the vendors Kerry brought to us we exactly to our taste. Kerry was patient and diligent in every aspect. She asked a TON of questions and was NOT afraid to get LOUD when advocating for the best pricing, packages, and deals in all respects. She was with us for every step and we booked everything (except venue) through Kerry. Kerry treated us to dinner as a way to check out the spot she wanted to book for our rehearsal dinner (Kittery on Smith Street in Brooklyn, NY). The dinner was amazing and she was able to get us an amazing deal with the restaurant. She was able to secure us the entire indoor space and facilitated a rehearsal with our families. Not to mention the space was BEAUTIFUL! Kerry and her team did an AMAZING job on the beautiful balloon arch. The wedding weekend was seamless. My husband and I did not lift one finger for our rehearsal dinner planning outside of communicating to the folks attending. She and her team did it all and we felt like royalty for our entire day. The wedding venue was like a page out of my dreams: it was everything I wanted and more! Kerry was clearly listening in our meetings and took detailed notes because I am ABSOLUTELY HUGE on details and she flawlessly executed on each and every one of the meticulous details we had created. Every single one of my guests has gone out of their way to tell me how smooth and seamless everything was and how the details (like the flip flop station we came up and the bathroom emergency/courtesy basket Kerry provided) were covered. Thank you for making my dream come true Kerry! Our caterer (Krisp Catering) was phenomenal and the food was everything I was dreaming of - it was even more delicious than we remembered! If you choose Krisp, please choose their goat cheese and honey tartes!!!!!

A day-of-coordinator is one of the last wedding vendors I considered, and working with Cindy made me wish I booked her right after getting engaged! Despite her busy schedule during peak wedding season, she always ensured that I, my now husband, and parents felt heard and received her full attention. The night before my wedding, a vendor reached out with a timing concern that would have led me to panic had it not been for Cindy, who solved the issue without my having to give it a second thought, leading to the ceremony entrance that my husband and I dreamed of. The day of my wedding, Cindy and Caroline immediately brought a sense of calm and joy when my bridesmaids and I were getting ready, and were on top of little wrinkles that arose in the plan, such as when a transportation vendor didn’t show up. I hadn’t realized that there would be so many wedding items to keep track of (vendor gratuities, favors, signs, toasting flutes, etc etc etc), but Cindy and Caroline ensured that all these things were set up correctly at the venue, and packed up at the end of the night. Overall, it is hard to imagine how the day would have gone without them. Talk about making the impossible, possible! I had worked with MVW Events to plan a surprise engagement picnic for my then girlfriend, now wife. Around the time, I was wrapping up my graduate program and set to graduate the day after I planned on proposing. MVW helped me set the vision for the picnic and coordinated sourcing vendors for the right deals on items that would make the moment extra special. With all the details in place, I was confident in what we had planned and was actually less nervous about the whole bended knee thing because of it. Fast forward to the day of and guess what ... It RAINED!! so the park area I had in mind did not allow folks on the grass after fresh rain so we had to change plans on the fly.
