Not only were they extremely professional and timely with communication the entire process of planning our wedding (which can’t be said about all the vendors we chose) but they were also so kind, warm, thoughtful and supportive. They went out of their way to source decor for us when we mentioned we had a limited budget and surprised us by decorating our reception space. Although the venue we chose was a hot mess from start to finish, Rhiannon and John worked so hard together to make sure we had pockets of happiness on our wedding day and for that we are so appreciative. I originally was not going to get a coordinator for my daughter's wedding, thinking we could handle things ourselves. However, the closer we got, the more I realized I could not be everywhere at all times! Savannah was the perfect person to fill this role. She takes her role very seriously. She set up meeting times, and had spread sheets for my daughter to help her keep track of specific items, and when certain parts of the wedding planning should be done by. She kept in contact with other vendors, coordinating things with them. She had frequent check ins. On the rehearsal day she had printed out a service order for the wedding party, and we did the walk through several times. She helped my daughter make the wedding programs. She is also an interior designer and was so helpful on the day of the wedding with the decorating. We had the venue starting at 10 AM and the wedding ceremony started at 4PM. The ceremony and reception area were separate. My daughter and I were up at the ceremony lawn setting that up, and we showed Savannah pictures of how we wanted the reception area to look and it turned out fantastic!! She led the rehearsal so eloquently - our wedding party (who have been in many weddings) was super impressed. The run-of-show was seamless, she was in lock-step with our venue manager, photographer, DJ, and various musicians. And to close, after a long day (we had a New Year’s Eve wedding so it went late!), she and her team broke down and aggregated our rentals, and packed up our personal decor (there was a lot). “When my husband and I started our journey to plan our wedding, I knew we were going to need some help. We are non traditional, with very eclectic tastes, and we were going to need someone special to help us pull off all of our insane ideas. I extensively researched over 20 coordinators, had a phones calls with 5 different companies, but ultimately I knew Ashley from Rose Event Co. was going to be the one. From the start she personable, intelligent, and made me feel understood in what our vision was for our special day. Throughout the process she was punctual with all of our appointments, gave helpful suggestions, and made me feel confident leaving my type A personality and needs in her hands. The weekend of the wedding came, and a lot of creative problem solving as well. We rented a private mansion for our event and did the rehearsal the day before. Ashley was there early, having already communicated with my other vendors and the venue to make sure we would be prepared for our big day. What we didn't expect was the kitchen under construction, furniture and decor that had not been moved at our previous requests(but promised), rooms that we had planned for, but could no longer use, and the Venue staff not "remembering" months worth of text and phone call conversations about our needs and expectations, as well as their promises and what they were supposed to deliver. There were other issues, but I digress. Ashley immediately stepped in with ideas and to be the go between with the Venue, and to help troubleshoot the long list of problems that had now come up. The night before was stressful for my Husband and I, not knowing if we were going pull this off, but I knew with Ashley, we were in good hands. The day of she brought her A game, a stunning red dress, and handled business. She was not afraid to get involved and make sure everything we wanted happened. She listened to our needs, knew when to step up or step down, was super flexible in our timeline and made sure to handle any issues that arose during the wedding. Her ability to read a situation and adapt to the issues at hand made her the perfect fit to our crazy ideas. She has incredible creative problem solving and is kind hearted and hard working. If it wasn't for Ashley, we could not have pulled off our day. I would recommend her 10x's over, to any bride that wants an absolute badass by their side. “Philly, the owner of Prologue Events, is exactly the wedding planner/coordinator/florist/friend you need in your life. She does it all, which is very convenient so you don't have to communicate with a bunch of different vendors. For us, she worked on our Chinese/Tea Ceremony day and Western Ceremony day. She has lots of experience working with cultural weddings and is familiar with many traditional customs. Early on, she created a mood board for floral arrangements and tablescape, which made it easy to trust and align with her. From beginning to end, she made the 1 year we spent wedding planning sane and somewhat enjoyable. She broke down tasks for us, allowing us to focus on one task at a time, and gave us lots of vendor suggestions to choose from. Philly REALLY shined on our wedding weekend, which was 3 days. You will be so happy you did.] Candice and Christopher are hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. I can't imagine having gone through that experience without them. They are the definition of what it means to go above and beyond. We booked them for our wedding on San Juan Island in July 2022. There are thousands of things we could list here on why we'd choose Candice & Christopher over and over again, but here are just a few that scratch the surface. Going above & beyond for us: Our venue was a new location for Candice and Christopher. It was also huge, complicated, and it was on an island. They happily booked a trip up to the island months before our wedding date to visit the venue and learn the in's and out's before the big day. They also had to get certified to drive the golf carts at the venue. Yet again, they happily signed up for and took a golf cart training for us. These are just two examples of so many where Candice & Christopher far surpassed our expectations and found opportunities to make the extra effort to ensure our day was perfect. Advocating for us: They joined all our phone calls with vendors in the months before the wedding. When one of our vendors changed their tune on a previous agreement, Candice & Christopher spoke up to advocate for us in a way that was super collaborative with everyone involved and secured what we needed from that vendor. When grey area arose, they jumped in to create clarity and made sure all the details were sorted. Supporting us: My first steps to the aisle were down 2 small steps. As I started to walk my dress got caught under my shoes and I would've ate it if Christopher hadn't somehow appeared next to me to stealthily help me catch my balance. From miraculous physical support like this to being our all-around cheerleaders through the process, we felt incredibly supported throughout. The two of them teamed up to cover all the details of our massive (and rather particular) venue. I couldn't imagine a better team behind us to tackle that with what looked like ease and joy. I think that's something that sets them apart, the genuine joy they seem to get by creating a magical experience for an occasion they have so much love for. I have a memory of Candice smiling and grooving to the beat at the end of the night while helping wipe down a table. They truly love what they do.
