The other outdoor option is the Glenmore Pavilion. Designed by the team behind Pippin Hill, this beautiful, new open-air pavilion overlooks the golf course and the Blue Ridge Mountains, and it is covered so you would not need to worry about renting a tent for your outdoor space. Lewis and built in 1901. Designated a Virginia Historic Landmark and listed in the National Register of Historic Places, Avoca is the home site of Colonel Charles Lynch, Revolutionary War hero. The Space Downtown was created in late 2010 by owners of chefs Tim Burgess and Vincent Derquenne. The two have been partners since 1991, creating their first restaurant Metropolitain which operated in the same location as Space. It closed in 2003 and the chef pair sold the restaurant but remained owners of the building. In early 2010, the location became vacant and the two decided to open for private parties only. In addition to the Space Downtown, the pair operate Bizou and Bang restaurants, all three close in vicinity to one another.

The Vinton War Memorial is owned and operated by the Town of Vinton and often hosts public events at the venue. The Vinton War Memorial was originally conceived as the centerpiece of an 11.5-acre park that could be enjoyed by the community while honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country during World War II. The park was completed in 1946 and the two-story brick building known as the Vinton War Memorial was dedicated and opened to the public on August 20, 1948. Initially, it included the town's library, small meeting rooms, and the Dogwood Ballroom.
