Poppy was just what I wanted for our wedding! I very quickly and easily found the flowers I loved and wanted and it was all online or over the phone! Anna, the floral expert assigned to our order, was very responsive and when we had our meeting with her, she was very helpful in making sure we were ordering exactly what we wanted. I absolutely loved the blush traditional bouquet for me and my bridesmaids and the blush romantic garden flower clouds. The clouds were PERFECT to top each of the wine barrels that served as our altar. We were complimented a lot on the clouds. Overall, could not have been happier with Poppy. I would highly recommend for your wedding!

Lavka Flowers

5.0

Brooklyn, NY
  • Starts at $3,500

Katya Rusin established Lavka Flowers with the singular goal of revisioning the sentiment and enjoyment of what was once a humble act; the giving and accepting of flowers. As the lead designer, Katya is inspired most by art and it's a visual quality that connects people. She translates this visual quality through the use of color to transform individual flowers into a collective whole. Katya achieves her designs by utilizing the elements of design with an appreciation for texture.

Awarded Best of Zola
Katya is absolutely outstanding! Not only was she a pleasure to work with, but her skills in floral design are unsurpassed! The orchid arrangements with the black table cloth was my wedding, and she truly made my vision come to life so perfectly (which was not easy). Besides the fact, she was able to work with me on my budget and helped me cut corners where we could. Do not skip out on Katya, she will truly make your day even more special than you could ever imagine!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Violet Hour Floral Design

5.0

Brooklyn, NY

Violet Hour is a recurring daydream brought to life for owner and founder Amy Gilday. After 16 years of practicing law, working with flowers on the side every chance she got, Amy left her job to become a florist. She completed FlowerSchool New York’s floral design program and freelanced with various New York floral designers before beginning to take on her own clients. With the love and support of her amazing wife, two spoiled cats, and dear friends and family, she launched Violet Hour Floral Design in her beloved home of Brooklyn, NY. She’s never been happier.

Amy was an exceptional florist for our wedding. As soon as my mother and I met her, we knew we could trust both her excellent taste and her calming presence. She was professional, kind, and a joy to work with; the communication we had with her leading up to the event was seamless, and her execution of her vision on the day was beyond what we could have hoped for. I recommend her without any hesitation!

Susan was truly incredible to work with! She was always extremely friendly, quick to respond to our emails, professional, and respectful of our budget. Susan was able to take our inspiration photos and create floral arrangements that were perfect for our wedding and venue (Brooklyn Winery)! She went above and beyond what we could’ve imagined and we couldn’t believe how beautiful everything looked when we walked into the space for the first time. Susan took our vision and executed it perfectly. We received countless compliments from guests about how beautiful the arrangements were, and we loved the way that Susan was able to incorporate the different colors and textures that we were looking for with all of the floral arrangements! The flowers were also all of the highest quality. We were still able to enjoy the flowers that we took home from our wedding after we got back from our honeymoon :). Thank you, Susan, for all of the amazing work that you did for our wedding.

Kolinda Kreations did an especially excellent job on the arch for my wedding. It came out just the way I hoped. My table flowers also looked great but the arch was particularly large and I was afraid it might looks spars. However it was excellent.

My name is Elizabeth, I'm a Floral Designer and Illustrator based in NYC. Bess was founded after many late nights and early mornings spent creating floral designs influenced by my own art, and a love for the natural environment that I cherish. I love to take an intuitive and creative approach with each event and couple I work with; learning each and every client's story and vision as as a basis for my creations, and then applying those special details into my designs. Bess embraces modern shapes balanced with subtle gestures, whimsical movement, and seasonality that help bring your vision to fruition.

Bess was a pleasure to work with for our elopement. From the moment we first reached out, Eliza was prompt, accommodating, and genuinely warm in their communication style. The Bridal Bouquet she created was nothing short of stunning and detailed. Eliza hand-delivered it to my home which made my wedding day so much easier. She is clearly so knowledgeable about different flora and passionate about flower arranging. Vivi Fleurz

      5.0

      Brooklyn, NY
      • Starts at $6,000

In 2013, my passion for flowers started when I landed a job at a local flower shop. Entranced by the art, I fell head over heels in love with the intricacies of designing something new & special for a specific individual. I immersed myself, continually discovering new techniques & experimenting. My traditional design skills mixed with my trained eye from the fashion industry has helped shape what my design style is today- whimsical, ethereal, & extremely detailed. I consider my arrangements & installations to be a sculptures & am inspired by nature and it’s immense growth & colors, Dutch Master paintings, & the 60s psychedelic movement.

Vivi’s floral work for our wedding was absolutely stunning. She was incredibly thoughtful, professional, and attentive to what I envisioned, even when I didn't always have the design vocabulary to describe it. Vivi was super helpful throughout the process. Several people followed up with me after the wedding to ask who did the florals. She sourced truly unique flowers that were a conversation starter and a hit with our guests. My bouquet, the unique chuppah, the bridesmaids’ bouquets—everything was perfect! A few pictures attached. I highly recommend Vivi to anyone looking for exceptional, unique, and thoughtful floral design!

      5.0

      • Starts at $1,000
      • Serves Brooklyn, NY

My best friend Rose was planning her wedding and asked if I would arrange the flowers. I absolutely loved being creative and being part of her special day. The next week I enrolled in Flower School and after I finished my studies I started The Gathering florist and haven’t looked back!

      Awarded Best of Zola
Victoria did an amazing job and was super communicative throughout the whole process. Halfway through the planning I realized the venue had repainted and Victoria easily and quickly reshuffled the floral plans to accommodate new colors. Her and her assistant were super friendly, on time, and did a beautiful job turning our venue of a Brooklyn dive bar into a lovely and romantic space. The chuppah was framed with beautiful birch trees and really gave a sense of solidity and ritual to the ceremony. They also efficiently and unobtrusively took it down after the ceremony was over. Thank you!!
