Hi there! I’m Karina, an architect turned floral designer dabbling in all things daisies and more! My enthusiasm for floristry began in Brooklyn as a way to express my love for nature and design, but mostly so I could bring color, life, and beauty into my apartment on, you guessed it, Dean Street! Now, Dean Street Daisies has blossomed into a full-service floral and event design studio on the Hudson River in Irvington, NY where I live and create in a converted chapel with my husband and two cats!

Whether they are cradled in your hands on your wedding day, adding a touch of personality to your business, or adorning the custom tablescape for your private dinner party, flowers express love, friendship, individuality, your unique brand, and so much more. As a certified event designer from Flower School New York, and architect trained in composition, color, and execution, my design style and expertise has been carefully cultivated and inspired by many industries.

    Karina of Dean Street Daisies led an incredible arrangement class with wine tasting for my bachelorette party. We all had so much fun and our bouquets and centerpieces looked professional! Everyone could not stop talking about how easy it was, and how memorable! Karina was relaxed and so so nice! One of the best activities we did all weekend! She also designed the table setting for our dinner that night using the arrangements we made. It was simply stunning. I cannot recommend her enough! I was living my floral fantasy!!

    We had Dean Street Daisy do a bouquet making activity for a bachelorette party and it was one of the best parts of our weekend. Her set up was beautiful, her instructions and attention to everyone was beyond perfect, she taught us about bouquet composition, color composition, she even brought wine to taste as we made our bouquets, and she tailored all the flowers and colors to go perfectly with our themed garden dinner party to follow! Highly highly highly recommend for any and all events. 15/10 stars

    If I could do my wedding all over again, I would just so that I can re-live how amazing my flowers were at my wedding!!! I was introduced to Karina from Dean Street Daisies by a colleague at work after I mentioned to him how anxious I was about my flowers for the wedding. I emailed Karina, and in less than 24 hours she scheduled a consultation meeting with me and had been nothing but a delight to work with since then. We bonded on the fact that we are both architects, so I knew how responsible, detail oriented, and design focused she would be. I was not too sure what I wanted in the beginning, so during our consultation, she helped guide me through specific questions about my vision, what colors I'm attracted to, what type of flowers I typically like, etc. Her consultation helped me do a more thorough research, so after I sent her a general moodboard, Karina quickly built and shared with me a design presentation along with a detailed cost analysis that was perfectly within my budget. Karina was honest and upfront from the beginning about how much things would cost, and helped me find the right balance of number of arrangements/ types of flowers that would be around my budget and still fit my vision. And let me tell you... I went from not prioritizing flowers on my wedding day, to the flowers becoming the most important feature of the day! They were absolutely MAGICAL. Everyone was raving about them, and two months later, I still go through all my pictures and daydream about how beautiful my arrangements and bouquets were. If I could give 10 stars for Karina's artistry, professionalism, and commitment to her important role in my wedding I would. Thank you again!!
