Spread over 25 acres of gardens, The Brothers Ranch features palms, tropical flowers, and bamboo that helps transport couples and their guests to another place. This lush landscape serves to enhance a couple’s wedding theme and is complete with a refurbished courtyard and barn. The Brothers Ranch has multiple ceremony and reception areas to choose from, both inside and out. In addition, there is a bar, full kitchen, and designated dressing rooms, along with the sensory-indulging gardens. Up to 500 people can gather at this venue. Soon-to-be-weds can choose their own caterer to be approved by the ranch, allowing the pair to customize their day to their tastes and preferences. Parking is available, with overflow as well. There is only one event planned per day, and the couple has the day before and after the event for setting and cleaning up. The staff is eager to help couples achieve the wedding day they have always wanted!

We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding! The ceremony lawn is absolutely gorgeous, and it was surreal to be married surrounded by lush flowers and towering bamboo. The reception space is beautiful and modern looking with beautiful lighting and an abundance of plants that make the area feel so warm and inviting. During the event and well after, our guests were gushing over how unique and picturesque our venue was! Our absolutely favorite part of the venue was working with Jonathan and Jessie! They are so down to earth, sweet and incredibly accommodating and felt like instant friends. If you are on the fence on hiring the Wedding Crashers, DO IT! They were a huge hit with our guests and now my husband and I are plotting ways to get some goats of our own! 10/10 Recommend having your wedding at The Brothers Ranch! You will have incredible pictures and beautiful memories that will last a lifetime!

I don't even know where to start, I have nothing but good things to say! Then team here is amazing and on top of that their venue site is beautiful! I got all the credit on how organized, beautiful and smoothly things went but in reality I could not do this without the Carmel Fields team--Anahi, Jay, Annie and the rest of the staff. Our wedding was beautiful and so much fun. Our guest could not stop complimenting on how gorgeous everything was. I also got compliments on how delicious the food was. The team here are superstars and deserve all the kudos they get. They are super friendly, organized, and we're super happy we chose this site and this team to hold our wedding. Also their vendor partners are just as amazing as they are!

Dana. is. bomb! I knew she was going to be a good fit during our first phone call just because of her personality. Through the whole wedding process she kept checking on me which I appreciated so much. It was nice to be able to rant to someone about all that we were dealing with due to covid but she remained so positive! The wedding day came and she got right to work! She is definitely assertive but I think thats something that is needed!! She cracked jokes the whole time which we loved. Having to wrangle family/ wedding party to make sure you get all the shots and stay on time is not easy! I got my gallery yesterday and was floored. It was everything I hoped for and so much more... not one bad photo! I'd give her 10 stars if I could.

We just completed a large wedding with Tom and his super crew. We provided the catering and they handled the bar. Even though they had a huge rush for the bar Tom and his crew where able to fill the orders fast and efficiently while keeping a happy and friendly demeanor. At one point one of there staff offered us help if we needed. Great to see a crew that is doing everything possible to help teh event as a whole run smooth for the host. Glad to work with Tom and crew anytime!

From the initial call, all the way through the wedding day and beyond, she has been our designer, therapist, and dream maker. Her professionalism, quick response times to my million questions, and advice on all things wedding related were so helpful during the planning process. She knows the best venues and has great relationships with vendors near and far. The design creation was so fun. She sent a personalized mood board of things we had discussed on the phone and I got to go through and choose the ideas that spoke to me. Then we got to meet at the showroom and put all the pieces together. The day of, Andrina came prepared with EVERYTHING you could possibly ever need. She managed all the vendors and helped everyone stick to the timeline. All I had to do the day of was enjoy getting married. Everything went so smoothly and the day was exactly what we had hoped and planned for. I literally cannot put into words just how wonderful of a person Andrina is and how talented she is. Sydalyn Hill is a beautiful, peaceful, and rustic wedding venue that overlooks the redwoods. They have chandeliers in the walnut trees above the dance floor which is such an elegant a unique touch to the venue. Gwyn, Jonathan, their daughters, and team helped the entire day run smoothly. Gwyn also helped with the organization and planning leading up to the wedding. We did a lot of virtual planning as we did not live in the area. Gwyn was very organized and helped with all the little details throughout the planning process. We rented the venue for the entire weekend. It was amazing getting to enjoy the venue and get settled in before the wedding day. We had the best weekend!

I had read in a wedding magazine that you should hire a photographer who feels like a friend so that you are happy they are there on the day. Danieka met me for coffee in Monterey before we signed our contract and she was SO nice. Once we signed the contract, she started to send me recommendations for other vendors, suggested wedding timelines, and little pieces of advice she had picked up from other weddings (not too often - just 3-4 really informative emails throughout the year that we were planning and she was really responsive if I had questions). On the wedding day, she was prompt, really kind and struck an incredible balance between making sure that we had the pictures we wanted, but also that we were able to enjoy the day and not spend too much time taking pictures. I felt so happy she was there. Now, one week after our wedding, with just the pictures to look back on, we are SO happy that we booked her.

I scheduled my wedding for April 19, 2020 and had my bridal shower the day they announced the covid shutdown. I went on to try to replan my wedding in multiple other ways but kept having to reschedule. I reached out to Melissa and Claye with Movin’ & Shakin’ and they were so kind and helpful through such a challenging and stressful time. Their trailer was so cute and their cocktails were delicious.  They communicated great with us to solidify a menu and their service window to stay within our budget.  They offered a mimosa bar for the bridal party prior to the service, created a twist on my favorite cocktail, and even had a Bloody Mary bar set for the following morning.  I highly recommend them for any event you need them before. I got married here recently and it was beautiful! It is very convenient having rooms on site to accomodate so many guests. You have to cater through the venue but their food is amazing. They use their own grass fed meats and were great about what food and drinks we wanted. While the venue does come with a few things like tables and chairs, you do have to pay to rent other items from them and a lot of the decoration will be DIY, but this can be a good thing if you want to personalize a lot of things! Owners are not too strict about things and are flexible. This can go both ways though - sometimes the planning was a bit difficult due to lack of communication with the venue. It would take a while to get answers, or they would forget some things I told them. Definitely recommend getting a day of planner to help since this is a large venue with lots of DIY and family around usually. Other than that though, everything turned out beautiful and guests were very happy with the views and rooms. They are reasonably priced and we were able to stay up late too! Perfect day :)

Karlie created the most amazing and delicious cake and cupcakes for us, all customized to match our wedding theme and align with dietary restrictions. We were astounded when we got to our wedding and saw how perfectly Karlie had decorated the cake and cupcakes to match our wedding aesthetic. Additionally, everything was absolutely incredible! Our guests' favorite desserts were the chocolate espresso cupcakes with salted caramel buttercream and candied hazelnuts which were made vegan and gluten-free. Heather was lovely to work with. She had tons of ideas which made things way easier for me and less to worry about! She shot our engagement pictures on the east coast & our destination wedding in Spain. For the engagement shoot, it started to rain and turned for the worse! I figured the day was over and that was it, but Heather got creative, pulled out a fun umbrella and we had a great time!! The pictures are super fun and amazing to look back on now that we are married. The wedding pictures were just as fun-- Weddings are known to be high-stress but Heather was on top of things made life so much easier. She knew which pictures to take and when I would forget about certain group combinations with our families she would remember and get the shots! Not to mention she is just a super nice person so I felt comfortable making requests or asking for certain things. I also love the edits she did and really made the images stand out. The best way to describe my work is a mix of National Geographic and GQ/Vogue. My husband and I got married at Holly Farm in June 2024. We found the venue in October which gave us about 9 months to plan our wedding. Holly Farm made it relatively simple to piece together all the vendors due to their incredible and long lasting relationships. And while wedding planning is still stressful, what I didn't expect and was so very grateful for was feeling like I could hand everything over to them upon arrival for the wedding weekend and really feel like everything was in good hands (I did not have a wedding planner). I knew the venue was going to be beautiful but I did not expect to feel so at ease the entire weekend. I had the BEST time at my own wedding because the Holly Farm staff went above and beyond to take care of everything we could possibly need on our behalf. There was nothing they couldn't assist with. It was the most perfect weekend, and I could not recommend this venue more!

Our family and wedding party were able to stay with us for the entire weekend and it made it all the more special. Kerolos and Victoria are so amazing and fabulous to work with. They work so hard to make sure the weekend and day are perfect and they are so on top of everything. They’re super flexible with making changes to fit your vision and they think of every little detail. I highly recommended looking at Holman ranch for your wedding event!

We got married at Chaminade in November 2023 and highly recommend the venue. We discovered the resort when happened to take my mom there for dinner to celebrate her birthday. Every member of the staff was kind and helpful. In fact, Christopher was able to give us an impromptu tour of the hotel rooms, banquet halls, and ceremony locations. Once we signed our contract, Rebecca and Lizzie helped plan the catering and day-of details which included the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception dinner. I felt very comfortable going into the wedding day and knew everything would be handled smoothly by the Chaminade team. I can't emphasize enough how kind and helpful every member of the team was throughout the event. We had so many guests comment that the food was outstanding - even months after the wedding! Sadly, my appetite was thrown off from the excitement of the day but the catering team offered me ginger ale and toast throughout the night. The venues were set up beautifully and we appreciated all that went into creating the settings for the ceremony, bar, and reception areas. Chaminade made our wedding day unforgettable and I am so thankful to the team for bringing all the details together!

Mark and his team were wonderful from the start. He was always prompt to respond, kind, and quickly provided any updates to the menu/guest count/linen color change/ etc. We felt so comfortable working with Chef Mark right from the start and that was even more confirmed when we were able to finally meet him on our special day. Mark was adaptable to our decision to move where we were hosting dinner with such a supportive response "It is your day, we are serving dinner where you would like to" with no complaint at all. He arrived a few minutes early to make sure he and his team knew the venue layout and quickly got to work! He was personable making many guests laugh and smile (and even gave them sneak peak tastes into dinner and dessert!). Chef Mark also came down while we were eating to make sure that all guests were satisfied and boy were their smiles on everyones faces! We started with an array of appetizers from olive tapenade to turkey meatballs (my fav!) to ceviche. Our dinner was delicious- chicken, salmon, rice, asparagus, salad, and for dessert, chocolate cake and cheesecake (we ate it all!). All of the food was so good that we were getting texts the next day about all the specifics to our menu from our guests. I would HIGHLY recommend booking with Chef Mark if you want comfortable, reliable, and good vibes on your wedding day!

Less than two hours south of San Francisco lies the most magical getaway along the Santa Cruz coastline. I first came upon this impossibly charming storybook B&B while searching for wedding venues, and from the few photos I was able to find online, it appeared to be something out of a fairytale.  Situated just 10 minutes from the ocean and tucked beneath giant California Redwoods of Aptos, is Sand Rock Farm Bed & Breakfast. From the redwood carriage barn, to the turn-of-the-century Craftsman home, and ivy covered stone walls of the winery ruin, it was everything I could have ever possibly dreamed. On my first stay, I knew this was an incredibly special place. We entered through a private gate and drove along a wooded pathway until arriving at a towering yet tranquil home with logs burning in the fireplace. The Arts & Crafts era house was filled with period details like dark wood finishes, original fixtures, and a formal dining room with wainscoting. A grand staircase leads to a second story with window nooks and guest rooms with en-suite baths. And in a neighboring grove, a giant redwood stands tall, a beacon of the property. AND THE FOOD... Derek, the chef, is amazing. The food is fresh, seasonal, and farm-to-table. His attention to seasonal, local ingredients mixed with bold flavors embody the adventurous spirit of this seaside town. From our first breakfast, he was accommodating and cognizant of my dietary preferences, an honorable quality among those with talent.   Staying in this magical getaway, get lost wandering paths through ten private acres, or stay cozy and curl up with a good book by the fire. We did both. All rooms have jacuzzi tubs, robes, WiFi and cable TV. Plus, we loved that our wedding party could stay on-site - there was a great afterparty that ended with a jacuzzi and eating dinner leftovers in the kitchen! Also, conveniently located and very easy for guests to access. This place is truly something special, and I’m already looking forward to our next visit.  It makes me so happy to share it with you.
