Q: How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Typically, couples book me about 16 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Q: Will you edit all our pictures?

Yes! I edit my own images that I personally take. This includes Lightroom touchups and minor object removal. There is no outsourcing you this saves you money and you can be sure that you are only working with me!

Q: How long will it take to see our pictures?

I always love focusing on one wedding at a time. Therefore, I promise 4 weeks to deliver your images, and most of the time, get it to you 2-3 weeks after your wedding!

Q: What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

Covid has been a new factor in the wedding industry. I always state that unless I am contagious at home, in the hospital, or dead (ha), I will be there for your wedding. If this were to happen, I always have a list of trusted photographers I know can be there to document your day. If no one is free and I cannot make it, a refund will be given.

Q: Do you have insurance?

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

Q: Do you work with assistants or other photographers?

Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra.

Hi, my name is Dana and I am a wedding photographer based out of Monterey. From the moment you inquire throughout the whole wedding journey with me as your photographer, you will have an experience unlike any other, with a personal welcome gift, check-ins, advice and guidance, plus more. An amazing person and photographer! Dana helped us through: from deciding what shots we wanted, to helping us with our timeline, to shooting engagement photos, to keeping us on schedule on the big day. My husband and I are so happy we went with her. The photos came out beautifully and we even got a sneak peak ahead of the big drop. So fun sharing all those fun memories with family. Dana is an amazing photographer who can make anything look amazing and make anyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. She was also so much more than just a photographer! She helped us choose the ceremony location and vendors, and she answered all of our questions along the way. On a day that could have been really stressful, she took charge of the schedule and put us all at ease so we could focus on enjoying the day. Plus, the pictures are beautiful! Highly, highly recommend.
