I approach bridal hair & makeup styling with a romantic sensibility, including when creating a dramatic look. I’m excited to be working with you to make your dream make over come true with a soft romantic look or dramatic and glamorous look.

Enhancing clients’ natural beauty is always my first goal. I believe there isn’t a one-size-fits-all method when it comes to designing a look for clients. Your features, personal style, your dress(es), and the venue are some of the things I take into consideration when it comes to figuring out what look will be best for you. My Team & I specialize in weddings, but also design looks for other events including but not limited to engagements, portraits, headshots and boudoir.

    Ngan's team did hair & makeup for myself, my maid of honor, my sister, and my mom for my wedding at the Claremont Hotel on 10/12/24. I found Ngan through Zola- she stood out because her website was very straightforward (both pictures and prices included) and because her pictures were aligned from what I wanted ("my face but better"). I also specifically wanted someone who could do both hair and makeup since it was one less vendor to worry about finding. Ngan clearly knows what she's doing. Her emails are VERY detailed and straightforward. I did the trial 2 weeks before and she was extremely patient in making sure I looked how I wanted and made adjustments as necessary. I would highly recommend doing the trial- it made getting ready smoother before the wedding, plus my fiance (now husband) and I took advantage of the results of the trial to do a nice dinner later :). Ngan did my hair and makeup for the wedding while a senior assistant (Marilyn) did hair and makeup for my MoH, sister, and mom. It was a very relaxed but productive atmosphere- my sister and MoH literally were doing their nails on the floor of my hotel room while the rest of us got our hair and makeup done. There were multiple conversations going on among the five of us, and it felt pretty natural. Marilyn also made some recs regarding my mom's hair since it was on the shorter side and she wanted curls, but the pictures I found on Pinterest were for hair slightly longer than hers, and my mom ended up looking great! She looked really happy. I'm only giving Ngan and one other vendor I worked with for the wedding five stars- she and Marilyn were such a great fit for us. Her pricing is also VERY fair, especially with how happy we were with the results. 100% would recommend to others!

    I have worked with Ngan on several occasions from the time she started in the profession until today. I have seen Ngan's work continue to improve and blossom to an artist she is today. The one constant is that she has the most infectious laugh and the bubbly personality that would make your stress as a bride seem invisible (A characteristic very important in an artist / client relationship on a hectic wedding day). As a photographer, I see a makeup artist beyond her beautiful makeup skill. Not only does she need to be great and what her does, but that she also show the passion for her craft. Ngan is truly accurate of that description. On top of that, she is a willing listener and can deliver on what you want. Truly easy to work with. I would consider Ngan as a candidate for your makeup and hair needs for your wedding and other special events.
